Lol its a requirement that you blow up Kane's Pyramid with a super weapon, Sure there's a perfectly good Mammoth MKII right there but its about the principle. Especially when canonically its a bigger insult to shoot his pyramid with an Ion Cannon for the second time in his life. Also he made you go through the mission "Weather the Storm" and we have to style on him after putting us through that.
a lot of games were like that back in the day, i always expected to lose a level the first time through, or at least restart after it inevitably went sideways at some point
The first time I played the Nod campaign in Firestorm I only saved at the very beginning and was mercilessly owned by CABAL's guardian so my only option was to restart the entire mission.
Great video, thanks! I had to improvise a little with the apc strategy though, because NOD already had about 5 siege tanks deployed by 56 minutes. In case you see the same thing: what I did was to slow the time in the game settings to the slowest, capture a refinery and quickly buy a barrack next to it to obtain more engineers. The second base was much easier. I've used a transport plane to carry an apc full of engies right next to its next construction yard, then repeated the barracks / engineers spam.
The amount of artillery units in that first Nod base was stupid for me. And I’ve been playing on easy. I couldn’t get close enough with 1 APC, I had to do 3 runs just get the refineries and yard. That before I had the chance to locate the ICBM. Timer got down to 4 minutes before managed to do a bombing run. Luckily once you get it the rest are a lot easier.
One thing I learn from the Tiberian saga is that Kane maybe lost in most of the wars, but after everyone the Tiberium get stronger. The true enemy is the green crystal not him.

Hard difficulty is way stupidly unfair. In normal difficulty you can almost destroy that nod base with the three Tiberian Dawn era Mammoth Tanks while here mere scout bikes can easily destroy one mammoth tank like nothing.
gg, btw we all know...Kane is a unkillable Phophet, unlike real religions, Kane is actually a real person while science cannot confirm religions which results in them not existing but religions being a 100% lie, the History of the Brotherhood of Kane etc. is real in some way however
