This would be alot easier to follow if you slowed down just a bit and flipped the camera around so the viewers can see the board, it doesn't have the correct pay out odds and the way you're explaining the prop bets payout is not easy to grasp, got to be another way!
Here's where I'm confused,if the ANY CRAPS square pays 7-1,which is 2,3,12,why would I play the the "C" and get 3-1? Doesn't the C pay 3-1?. It is because the C&E you get the 11 and the ANY craps you dont?
It is because with C&E, your bet is split between the C and the E. If you have a 2 dollar C&E, it is equivalent to having a dollar C and a dollar E. In this case, if you hit a craps number, you have 1 dollar paying 7-1, but losing the dollar on the yo. Your 6 dollar payout is 3 times the 2 dollars you put up. If you just play the C, and win, you will get 7 times your bet.
Add 0:53 you say that the crap check will pay $7 for each $1 bet. The ANY CRAPS bar shows 8:1. If you put it there, you would get $8 for every $1, so why would you ever put the bet where you are showing?
No look closer, it shows 8 ‘for’ 1, not 8 ‘to’ 1. For the 1 you risk, you’re given 8, so it’s actually 7:1. Now why the payout math for these bets have to be so convoluted, I don’t know. But it’s part of the house edge; like the way there’s 36 numbers on a roulette wheel but you get paid 35:1 instead.
Stopped watching when you went through each payout on the craps check from 1-5. You already said payout was 7 to 1, no need to then teach us our multiplication table of 7
yeah this guy needs to slow it down and explain this stuff better. I'm sure what he is saying makes sense, but he should be taking into account that not everyone can move at his speed. throwing out a hundred different numbers a hundred miles a minute is just really hard to follow.
