Yelan at least is one of the main cast in Liyue archon story (Chasm). Emilie is just side character made to wear the artifact set that relates to burning effect 😂

Looks like the media server wasn't set up this time in advance so he had to download and setup a private server like leakers do. This means he couldn't just copy over his account and it's why there are no voice lines and why he couldn't do an abyss showcase.
@@asterpw Private servers give you the option to just generate weapon and artifacts tho. So he could just say /give [weapon name] and get everything that way
@@broskie0217 it doenst need to be high since Burning as a reaction it self is self sufficient. Applying more dendro isn't going to help the reaction at all, and if for whatever reason that you need more dendro application, it's a lot better to run double dendro anyway especially when Nahida exists

We just need more pyro support in general. Benny and xiangling already showing their age which feels less comfy than modern supports and the rest just doesnt cut enough while the limited 5 star are all on field DPS. Mavuika or any limited pyro support from Natlan will take Emilie to greater heights. As for now Emilie is a future investment unit
@@Puppetmaster2005 giving him ICD is fine since it doesnt matter for the likes of Wrio and Emilie, it just he has pretty weak shield with no buffing capability outside his C6 and it came with 80 energy cost
She'll probably get more value pretty quickly, seems to be a good pairing with Kinich already for next patch for starters and no one would be surprised if she'll work well with Mavuika later too

Its good that they are exploring niches for pyro. Because previously it was over reliant on vaporize. But now with chevreuse for overload, emilie for burning and to some extent navia for crystallize, pyro char can function with different reactions
Beidou is my favorite burning main DPS. You can use your burning enemies to proc perfect parries + cooldown reductions with Thundering Fury (via her constellation that makes her basic attacks do electro). Sadly some enemy types are immune to the build as their burning hitbox is too high for Beidou to interact with it.

I powered through to 60/70 and she's definitely a delight. I love her delicate voice and her outfit ~ Made an honestly hilarious hyper/burgeon team full of summons: Dehya and Emily with their lamps, Fischl&Oz, and Furina's troupe

the overload buff only works if the party just has pyro and electro characters But her 40% attack DMG with skill does work at any time (40% if you have 40 K HP)
Definitely pulling for her on her rerun (i prioritized yelan). Let's hope she doesn't get a wriothesly/shenhe situation and get a rerun in a reasonable time.
When it comes to teams: Most pyro main DPS benefit more from vape/melt, and most Dendro benefit more from agravate/bloom then they do from burning. Try instead geo main dps. I did Navia, Zhongli, Bennett and Emilie. You have burning nonstop while not sacrificing any major damage reaction.
Calamity Queller is better IMO. Its top Base ATK of 714 with a +16.5% ATK Secondary isn't bad at all, but it's the Passive that really makes it shine At R1: • Unconditional +12% Elemental DMG. • Ramping +ATK% Buff after casting E Skill: +3.2% ATK/sec, 6 Stacks Max for +19.2% ATK, 20 seconds duration, no CD. • AND, when Off-Field, ATK Buff is DOUBLED! (+38.4%) Oh! I just saw that you were talking about an On-Field Weapon! Still, there aren't many reasons to keep Emilie On-Field...
After getting guaranteed Navia, I won Emilie, I was planning to pull for her regardless cuz I'm not like everyone else, I actually genuinely love her design cuz she reminds me of my OC but now that she is a good support for Kinich I can say that I am a winner.
for when iwtl said the emilie needs a on-field dps ( SPOILERS FOR 5.0 CHARACTER I GUESS) I saw some team comps for Kinich, is going to be released in 5.0, and most of them included Emilie, so it is probably similar to kuki shinobu. On released one of the worst character, but when dendro got released she became one of the best character so her true potential will probably be shown after Kinich is released but I am not sure since they may make changes to Kinich's stats so ye she might become better when she gets released
guys i need dendro dps and when alhaitham banner is coming i lost to dehya T___T, and since i have guaranted, which is better to pull? emilie or kinich? i like emilie burning but character wise i like kinich and his design too
Dudeee Im so diveded if I should pull for her now or her rerun! I really want Mualani, but something tells me that Emilie will be a really good character in Natlan, since (i belive) every new character that came up b4 a new region turned out to be a really good one (Kazuha, Yelan and Baizhu).
Unpopular opinion: her bulk of damage is coming from her passive 1 as we saw on the vid so, u can left her lvls at 1-1-1 or lvl up her burst but not her skill. I think she is kinda affordable material-wise but I can’t say the same (at the moment) to her team members.waiting for natlan to see her full potential 👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
That's not an unpopular opinion, it's an incorrect set of statements which appears to stem from a misunderstanding of her kit Emilie's damage output has traditional linear scaling, as in not focused on elemental mastery like some other dendro teams. For full potential, failing to level her skill will kneecap the core of her damage output. Emilie's skill is the base or her kit and it scales entirely off atk, dendro damage and any relevant crit triggers or raw dmg% buffs. Her burning passive in this context is an additional source of raw dmg% in the overall damage calculation.
im surprised some people are still playing genshin. i started end of january 2020 and after 3 years of very consistent playing i got so burnt out from the quest bloat and exploring i stopped. havent played since then but from keeping tabs on the scene its just the same

I think a lot of these team comps undersold Emilie. You used an artefact set that boosts her damage when off-field, but kept her on-field the entire time. Edit: this comment is probably wrong; check comments for some clarifications.
The artifact bonus just mentions that it still in effect even when off field, not MUST be off field. Besides reverie set damage boost will still be in effect if there are burning nearby so emilie does not need to be offield all the time
@@ehlol4740 great, thank you for clarifying that. I think that artifact set description is really poorly worded. Seems like it's a 50% bonus both on- and off-field, but it will decrease when on-field if there are no burning opponents nearby. So it's actually a pretty good set for her, but unnecessarily complicated for some reason

She seems fun and interesting. Its a shame that i have to skip a lot of characters since i rlly need a support. I feel like she is ok, but it seems like someone is always a better option as her replacement in many team comps
Maybe she'll be more useful to DPSs such as Kinich in the future, just like how Nilou was niche and didn't have a proper team until Nahida and Kaveh were released for bloom dmg

team with Dandro Traveler or YaoYao and then the team is there for setting up for different role , Hyper Bloom with any good Hydro + Electro , Burning Team using you know who , or even Burn Vap , Burn Overload or Burn Melt Team , 4 element combo reaction team is also a candidate so long one include a Pyro chracter to maintain the burning reaction

Damn, she's like dendro Fischl, but more dmg in burning comps. Pretty solid. I'm kinda tempted to pull her just to try out a Cyno comp I have in mind 💀👌 Anyway, event weapons back at it again with being good options but not everyone has them
I happened to randomly pull the Primordial Jade Spear on Standard the week before her release, so it was like a sign. Though I was going to get her anyway. She's too cute, and I love her voice. She's strong, too. O.O
I’ve Been using Nahida for burning for my Gangu but I’m thinking to replace Bennett with Dehya and my Xiangling with Emilie to see if the dmg is worth. The interruption resistance will be good for Ganyu, I think the dmg will be more consistent, and double dendro hopefully will make Emilie’s dmg catch up enough to replace Bennett/Xiangling. Idk the numbers would almost certainly be lower but the Ganyu shots could be way more consistent and easier to get in
Welp she's literally the only char that i wanted and could not get coz I've lost twice on her banner. Haven't pulled yet on this banner yet. I'll try it tomorrow
I'm pretty sure that the dps for her team will be Kinich since he is burning/burgeon focused, and I would pull for her to make any potential Kinich team stronger, but I'm broke. :(
Chiori dominates. Her C6 is probably the strongest character in the game. Like, she can solo every boss in the game without even trying. Navia and Itto would get destroyed
@@KaiOfDeucalionyeah Chiori C6 is just below arlecchino and neuvillette c6 in terms of raw power. C6 Navia excels in nuking and itto sadly got powercrept by the newer geo dps
She's the best support for Kinich, since Kinich's kits is also revolving around burning reaction. This comp is similar to that Xiao and Xianyun's combo, both are good on other team but basically made as their perfect support. Idk about Mavuika, bur prolly she might be other alternatives best for the team
I love that she has quite some team options. Right now I’m leaning towards Dehya Jean Ayaka I had around 250 pulls and won all 50/50 for C2 I lost once on the weapon primeordial jade (which I still needed for Xiao yeay) and then I got her Signature, a solid unit!
I can't be 100% sure but my guess would be because one is an event weapon he might not have and the other two are from the shop which alternate each month and have to be bought with Starglitter.
Thinking about pulling her out of boredom. She’s a decent sub-dps. Wished her skill and burst snapshotted but that might be asking too much. Like others mentioned, she might be valuable with Natlan characters. I’m hoping the pyro archon is a buffed xiangliang+bennett substitute that can buff pyro reactions.
Some character in natlan will use burning like mavuika probably since all the character have been shown has dash skills and making mavuika look like he have a bike as skill and her being pyro and since xingqiu yelan have to use normal for they're burst mavuika have to use E so mavuika probably needs emelie for burning reaction and kinnich has the same he has to use E for her dmg which he can use emelie because burning is usefull for kinnich emelie will shine a lot in natlan since a lotof them looks like a exploration character which they're dmg comes from E or Q
after Imaginarium Theater release i realize that off-field characters is become important and need a lot of variation of characters too (because the Vigor system) i think Emilie will useful for IT in the next season, and of course with Pyro characters from Natlan in the future
What? This character is playable because she is perfect as in not too OP and not too bad... Neuvilette is bad because he is too OP and it is just boring
They should make every character release able to switch to element infused weapons normal attack style or skill damage style that would be really cool and offer a lot of different ways to play all the characters you love ❤

I just wonder for what, outside of infinite mob spawning combat events, would I use Emilie over Nahida? Maybe a bit higher subdps if Nahida buff can't be taken advantage off, but that's a whole 5 star worth of pulls for the same experience otherwise. Can't even think of how a future team would be significantly better with Emilie instead of Nahida - unless they make *another* burning character that buffs instead of subdps akin Chevreuse with only Pyro / Dendro. Don't see them releasing both subdps *and* buffer for one specific reaction anywhere close to each other though, if ever.
@@vacaac He said himself that currently there are mostly gonna be better characters to fill her niche place in current teams. Sure, she might become OP in the future, but that doesnt make her a very strong character at this moment. Also, he never mentioned this, but Emilie also barely has any AOE damage, so she will never be strong in situations with many mobs.
@GiesbertsN She literally has AoE burst that deals good damage and has a low cost and cd. One of her passives deals 600% of her attack (+ dmg bonus from her other passive) every few seconds, which also has a large AoE. So she is far from being weak vs multiple mobs lol.
she reminds me of Nilou, except she's using burn reactions rather than superbloom cores to increase her effectiveness(as well as not being comp locked to only hydro dendro)
I kept wondering what everyone meant about the "technical difficulties" for early release videos, especially since that seems like such a flimsy reason, double especially when ccs were speaking for others while saying that lol. Bit more understanding now though it's a shame there's less to test visually even if the numbers are there
As a side note, Emilie's burst is so bad against single targets, but once you get it to C4 it becomes so much better. The problem is that the burst summons an orbital strike every 0.3 seconds but can only target the same enemy every 0.7 seconds. This means it summons a total of 10 orbital strikes but only 3 of those actually hit the same enemy. But at C4 she can increase it to 7 orbital strikes basically doubling her burst's damage on single targets.
