@@ryukickdo2652 Basically how it works is that Kachina Triggering a Hydro reaction (crystalize) with the artifact set she has on gave Kachina and Mualani a dmg% increase for their respective elements used when triggering the reaction ( Geo and Hydro). Meanwhile instead of the usual Emblem set that Xiangling would have on, she instead had on Archaic Petra so that when she picked up the Hydro crystal, she would give Mualani a hydro dmg increase which would be the equivalent to a full fanfare stacks Furina buff with the Dmg buff from Kachina (75% if I'm not mistaken).
You don't invest in her to just level 40 or 50. Invest her to at least 70 so she can be your asset whenever geo imaginarium theatre drops Also, kinda sad that you don't showcase Navia since a lot of people are trying to see if she works as Navia off-field support.
yeah she seems to be an alternative/f2p chiori substitute for navia teams and i wanted him to test her out in that situation to see how good she would be.
i feel the same. ever since navia released shes been in my main party and shes not going anywhere soon. i use zhongli to make her stronger. would have been interested in seeing the difference between him and kachina.
@@chawzza9766 zhongli is such a versatile unit and is used in so many teams that he can be used by anyone just as much as he’s used by navia. chiori’s geo constructs are more consistent in terms of damage and offield application that c0 zhongli would be worse than most if not all of navia’s other offield geo chars (albedo, kachina, and chiori). chioris damage and application compensates for a lack of shield and application by zhongli. chiori is navias best teammate rn (before kachina testing) but pulling her solely for navia if you don’t like her isn’t worth it.

I am going to be trying her as an additional buffer for Noelle. I already run Noelle, Furina, Chiori and Gorou. If I swap Chiori for Kachina with the new set I could see it letting Noelle hit for higher personal damage. Im not convinced that Kachina will stay a part of the team especially post Xilonen's release but I think Kachina is very much worth testing as a holder of the new artifact set if nothing else.
As someone who doesn't have (or want) Albedo and Chiori, Kachina will be perfect for me as she will be my first Geo off field/sub dps which is exactly what i need for my Navia and/or Noelle teams.
had no idea Kachina was a b-girl like that. the way she hit that 1990 (upward palm spin) in <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="26">0:26</a> was enough to convince me to build her
Sounds great for a support role. 40% DMG Bonus just like that with very little investment, don't even need ER or really anything from the artifact other than just getting the 4pcs set.
Headpatability powercreep is insane 🤣 But yeah her being useful in overworld and early Natlan patches due to the cinder city artifacts means I'm definitely building her to usable standards, maybe 60/70 1-6-6.
Her jumps is like a normal attack so coordinated attack like Yelan and Xingqui works on her. Synergy? Ofc none, but if you just want to bounce with Kachina, you could do this, Xingqui and Yelan will do most of the work and Kachina will be there for cuteness effect.
From C2 her burst either re-summons or extends duration of existing Turbo Twirly (albeit by 1/3 of what the skill does). So once you have C2 it's more meaningful to invest ER into her burst for even more consistent Turbo Twirly uptime -> artifact buffs and energy generation.
Don't forget that you do need one PECH character on the team, because she needs to trigger a Geo reaction in order to provide the buff! (unless you're planning to use Itto exclusively against innate-aura enemies)
@@Pheonee Yeah, this is correct. I will be using Itto, Gorou, and Kachina. The fourth slot is a flex slot preferrably a different element to trigger Kachina's artifact set.
It helps that they are giving one copy free & I'll be pulling on the Kazuha banner so I'll get more copies of Kachina. Probably reach C2-C3 Kachina atleast.

So she provides some exploration utility, some off-field particle generation, and 40% dmg bonus from the new set. Eh, not bad for a free character. Could be a nice replacement to Chiori in some of my teams if I want to use her elsewhere, I guess. Also, she's cute, so that's that.
I kinda wanna run her on my Noelle, Yunjin, Furina, Gorou team in Yunjin's place and see how that performs in different situations. I'm not really a fan of Yunjin in that team but Noelle needs the geo particles and I haven't found anyone else that works without having energy issues or me trying to get better artifacts that just won't come.
While Archaic Petra is one of the few ways you can increase the damage of a HP scaling character I don't think it's worth gutting a potential sub-dps to do it. Xiangling losing a ton of damage from not running emblem plus losing out on the 20% ER from emblem by being on the archaic petra is not worth it imo. For example in a Neuvillette team you could argue to have Zhongli with petra cause normally he's on tenacity which doesn't do anything for Neuvillette and Zhongli isn't really contributing to a lot of dps anyway. Not to mention AP only buffing a single element really makes it better for mono teams, it's better to stick to VV or Instructors for amplifying reactions.
U need the natlan support artifact to make her really got she’s a good buffer/support for Navia or Itto. I would say wait for Xilonen b4 building her tho since she is a 5 star so there is a chance she is a better geo support
I think she can do an ok amount of sub dps dmg I'll probably invest a reasonable amount into her because I have an abundance of resources at the moment and won't be pulling till the pyro archon

Im at a point where i dont really do anything even the dailies and have been slowly leveling all my characters to lvl81 so im gonna get her to lvl81 and build her a decent enough set just like my other characters because i dont like sharing artifacts hahaha
I don't care, i'm geo main. And i'll max her out like the rest of my shiny geo units. The only downside, i'll have to wait for a different banner to c6 her. It might take some time, but eventually she'll appear on some one's banner whom i won't be mind pulling for, but as of now i'll be happy with free c0 copy ^^
She can work absolutely perfect with mono geo team like Itto and even Navia Navia will nuke more dmg and Kachina can help with generating some crystallize shards for Navia
Its criminal that you didnt mention Navia teams. Kachina should be a fairly strong stand-in and probably better than Zhongli in Navia double pyro or other Navia teams. And dont forget about her constellations giving her more utility for the teams. In navia teams, her C1 allows Navia to gain more Rosula Shardshots while off field since Kachina also magnetizes shards towards her. In mono geo teams, Kachina's C4 makes her a pretty powerful Def buffing support in Itto or Noelle teams. Think of wet mop teams, so Noelle, Kachina C4 on Scroll of the Hero, Furina, and Yelan. Just even more dmg bonus plus a def bonus for Noelle, and probably good dual support with Gorou in Noelle mono geo, with the PHEC flex slot being someone like Fischl, Yae, Furina. In Itto teams, the flex can be Yae Miko, Fischl, Yelan, etc.
u need to proc a reaction to get the set buff, so she can't really replace albedo or anyone in mono geo unless there are elemental infused enemies i think. which is sad tbh =/
Well finally we have alternative for archaic Petra set. Tbh i don't mind for it being restrictive but in a game where DPS check runs on a timer......... Picking up shards to get dmg instead of just having the reaction done was a bad decision.
Finally my albedo will comeback to the itto/ noelle hunga-bunga team (depends on which one i wanna play with) and my navia also got her great mates for free without pulling for chiori, or building my c25 ningguang. ( Don't ask for my zhongli, since he's always bussy with eula/ hutao)
Natlan would have been perfect update to start a 3 banners system and get Kinich on phase 1 also since they really be marketing and promoting these 3 unique exploration mechanics that Mulani, Kinich and Kachina and Saurians provide!!!
I just recently got Navia and I've been slowly building her up. I haven't decided on teammates yet, so I think I'll try running Kachina with her. I don't have any other geo characters built yet anyway (newish player).
I love how the hide UI has been a thing for like 2 patches now and ppl are just now realizing it existed. How I found out was a random slap on my key board then I freaked out and tried pressing F1... had to randomly press keys till I hit \...
Any thoughts on Kachina with Navia? One look at her kit and the new artifact set immediately made me think she would be best in slot for navia teams (replace chiori in Navia, Bennet, Xiangling, Chiori team). Chiori obviously deals more personal damage, but she does little to buff navia's personal damage. Kachina can utilize the Cinder City set to buff navia and xiangling's damage, super comfortable to get the right elements (only pyro geo in team), can create more crystalizes bc her skill is aoe, and others in the party can invest less in er (which in turn also = more damage) considering the 2 piece set bonus.
Man .. she would've been so good if she had any healing. Navia Chiori(C0), hyperbuffed Mualani, .. But like this, I'm not sure I want to build her, anticipating that surely she won't be the only one able to use this set soon enough, and then on a character that actually does something themselves. While more useful right away, it reminds me of Lynette who is sadly the only character I regret building though I was really looking forward to her - but there's not a single reason ever to put her in any team now. I'm even fine with my built Collei who at least has some specific niche uses over Nahida. Only reason I would consider to built her is for that insane Natlan exploration, but I'm really more leaning to just save resources instead.
I know I’m probably one of the few people that think like this, and that’s okay, but I will personally be triple crowning her as soon as possible and building her as a main dps. i don’t really care if her damage isn’t the greatest, it’s just how I like to build all my favorite characters
this is kinda out of left field but still relevant but god i love that WL9 has made things actually a bit more spongey so we can test things out PROPERLY. the spike in hp is quite a bit larger than i thought it'd be, which is nice.

Pull for C2 Kachina. Give her Favonius and a new support set. Forget about building tons of defense, because her damage is negligible and buffs don't depend on it, instead give her energy regen stats and near a 100% CR so Fav will always proc. Put her in a Navia team with Bennett and Xiangling, where she buffs both DPS characters and provide crystals for Navia.
Kachina is all I'm looking forward this 5.0 as a geo collector. Thank goodness she is free and I don't need to pull on her banner since I have a guarantee.
