I love that chip is always talking about carol, but she gets woven into the story at the most unsuspecting of times. like fresh out of combat, no roleplay ocurring, just smack out of nowhere.

Personal theory about Carol. Either blackmail or coin she what roped in to helping Eddy somehow. And after a while she realizes she is on the wrong side of maybe just because she is against her husband Chip. She has no choice but to still help Eddy but starts leaving clues to help Chip and his friends from the inside. Just a theory but that is what I think right now.

Even though theyre not super detailed i absolutely fucking love the character portraits. Goes to show you dont need a ton of detail to give characters personality.

I almost choked on my drink laughing when Chip put his hands on his hips and managed to end the fight! A very Kyborg like moment... I also love the poll results from RTX, because it is the same results of how I felt listening to campaign 1. I loved the dumb Kyborg moments, and I would probably pick him as my favorite, but its actually so close to call, I loved them all for so many reasons. I just started listening to the podcast about 2 months ago, and binged my way all the way through up to current, so for me, the first campaign was every day for about 2 months, and now its gone, But I'm loving campaign 2 so far! I find myself liking Mathilde (yes I had to google how to spell the name) the most, but really everyone has the moments that makes it impossible to pick a favorite! Love the show, and I wait for every Wednesday for each episode!

I have been watching an episode or two a day. Very enjoyable to listen to while I draw art. Please 🙏 🥺 no spoilers but I hope that Chip finds his wife Carol by the end. 14 episodes watched. 36 to go. A month and a bit to go. Or a little over five weeks to find out.

Since we're being rules lawyering at the end. Technically Barney wouldn't had been able to cast both bless and spiritual weapon as you can only cast 1 leveled spell a turn 🤓 leveled spell + cantrip would've been fine

Backseat DM moment: Ellga should have gotten her strength modifier to her thrown attack. I thought she'd be able to use Reckless Attack to mitigate disadvantage, but sadly it only works on melee. But the true travesty was that no one used cover! After Mathilde began trading blows with the Hemogoblin and stood there in the open I started yelling like a football fan at a coach! Gus mentioned trees in the grassy fields, and maybe(?) a pavilion of some kind, with a Monk's movement speed he might have been able to move behind half, or even 3/4 cover and protected himself from more blood bullets

I came here for the dnd and stayed for the dune references

But what about Chip’s “Oh yaaa!”???
