Also, having just returned from N’Awlins yesterday (Jazz Festival was off the hook), I now know that the town of Lafayette is pronounced “lah-FIE’-et” by the locals. Our paths might’ve crossed in NOLA. Missed opportunity, I’m afraid, for me to buy you (get it?) boys a gumbo.
