Once you get everything done and fixed the C-4 can be one of the most reliable cars you will ever own as long as you don't let sit like the last guy did for long periods just drive it cars are made to be driven.
Thank you. Electrical problems have just been the majority of the problems with the car so far. The engine does have issues but I'm going to save that until the end. It probably just needs valve seals at some point. 🤞 But for now I'll just keep the oil topped off...lol. there will be a point where we get into weather stripping and a pillar sealing.. And all kinds of other non-electrical related issues. I have fix it videos posted of some of that stuff now. I've been tinkering with things since I was a kid, but my undergrad in electronics helps out a lot too. It's my daily driver right now and it's made a lot of progress.
hey quick question I have competition speakers in my 1987 corvette but the dash are fake and I bought kenwood speakers for the dash but they wont fit or drop do you know what type of bracket i would need? to make it work and look clean Thank You
Off topic question (sort of) but I saw you replace the climate hvac control box. My cars an 84 and it’s a manual system. Levers and cables lol. I’d love to switch to this digital One. So I’m curious if you had the same control box that you replaced with OR if you had that oldSchool manual version. And if you did have the digital already, in your search did you happen to see or read anything about there being a digital replacement for the 84s ? I haven’t found anything yet, but just started my search. Any info would be appreciated. Thank You !!
It was a direct replacement. If you have cables you have to replace the entire system.. with motors. I don't know much about the 84's.. A lot changed in 2 years.
IF U HAD ADDED THE RADIO HEAD UNIT INFO,SPEAKER INFO, i.e. speaker size,wattage etc, and maybe price, This vid could have been a possible 5-star. These i guess are just minute. Also what about the rear 2- spkrs? did u use any or what? Overall, good vid.Thumbs-up. Best, G E.
Hey mate, if you had the dash out, did you replace the heater core? I ask only because those are always a pain and no better time since you had the dash out anyway.
