You may want to go back and put a vent back in the top of the fuel cell unless you have one somewhere else. Without a vent, pressure builds up quick just from return fuel circulating back. Keep getting after it man, love the vids and oddball builds. Makes me want to yank the Ranger body off the frame and swap on the ‘71 postal jeep body and do a turbo 4200 swap

I just bought a 2015 50,000 mile S550 4Matic Mercedes with twin turbos, around 500hp. On the interstate going 80mph feels like I’m going 65mph. It’s doing about 2300rpm at 80mph. @mikevida250 actually you want it to return below the level of the fuel, if you just dump it into the top it airates the fuel and can cause flow issues, if you have the return into the top of the tank you should still have a pipe/tube in the tank taking it near the bottom.
@mikevida250 no? Because you want it to return BELOW the level of the fuel, that's why any decent tank, not cheP chineasium will have a tube from the fitting on the top of the tank to near the bottom.
Well the factory returns that go into the top of the tank have a tube that Carrie’s the fuel to the bottom of the tank so it doesn’t stir up the fuel, so kinda the same thing just no tube
