You could have used the cover by cutting a round hole then fit the bulb in and wham..

At the end you said the rubber dust cover doesn't fit back on with the new led bulb. Did you just leave it off or replace with something else? If you left it off aren't you concerned about water and dirt getting up in the headlight housing?

Jeffrey Smith hello there, I did leave it off. I guess that could be a potential issue. Maybe I will cut a small hole in the cap and feed the wire through. I dont think its too big a deal though

So we’re there ever any issues cause by removing the plastic cover? Just wondering, I did the same thing

What about the rubber boot that seals up the headlight housing and keeps shit out of it? Oh I guess it doesn't matter does it?

So you can replace the lows and high beams without taking the wheels off?

Not advisable to run without rubber covers. Moisture and dust will get into the headlight causing the glass globes and reflector bowls of the projectors to haze reducing output over time.

No output shots? Every led I have tried gives a washed out beam pattern with no intensity. Useless for road driving.

For the High beams they work great but for low beams, I would choose HIDS for sure.

If you have side-by-side output shots comparing the stock H9 with these LED's and they are at least as good, I'd buy a set. I've become skeptical over the years trying so many and being disappointed. Thanks for the reply!
