Paul is definitely the number two Buddy emmons. I've always said, in listening to the two of them play, Paul could actually outplay buddy. The two were like a relay team. Without buddy carrying the torch, and handing it off to Paul, Paul could never have run, and won the race. I'm so firm in what I believe that I would go toe to toe with anyone to debate the issue. 🤠. It's like the two pedal steels. Emmons steel is an awesome instrument, but, the Franklin is just a bit more of a guitar. If you don't believe me, put the two steels side by side and play them both. Then call me dishonest. I hope Paul isn't offended by these words. Love ya PAUL FRANKLIN.
