Hey mate, a HUGE thank you for the Parallaxian shout-out, which I was not expecting. I saw you had posted this RGN video and thought, "Arghh!!!!!! I should have emailed Louie to tell him about the Parallaxian WIP!", but lo and behold, you were a step ahead of me. So thank you again and hopefully I can be more mindful in the future.
Not a problem Jon, but yes you should have emailed me 😁. But I am kicking myself as I forgot to mention Seawolves. Keen to see how this comes out. Agree that it is a good way to test the waters.
Great to hear from you…I think the c64 community needs to hear again from someone with a more manly voice who has a slight bias to bare chested men. Miss those times.
@@RetroGamerNation haha, maybe one day - I’m sure there’s plenty more bare-chested c64 games to acquaint myself with. Always good to see you flying the flag for the humble machine.
Nice to see Parallaxian featured. Jon Woods is developing some games that are truly worthy of the label: 'Next-Gen C64' as it seems. With extensive use of High-res overlay sprites and ECM graphics modes.
Hello have you heard anything about Eye of the beholder on commodore 64/128 release date? From the RU-vidrs that showed it in late Sept and early Oct they all said it would be out in Oct 2022. We are now 3 weeks into Nov and I google it every couple of days but I'm not finding anything?
Last I heard was that they have two bugs to fix but the team is currently finding it hard to find the spare time to fix and test. So not definite release date I’m afraid
@@RetroGamerNation Very cool!!! Also a bit funny that I just googled it this morning and asked you this morning about it!! 8 hours later and it out!!! TY
I love these videos! Thank you so much for making them. I know it's lots of work but please understand how much it means to us viewers :) i have got many new games for my c64 thanks to you! Keep it up! You are amazing!
Thanks so much for the encouragement. It really does make a difference and I glad to hear that it is helping you to try out or buy new games. This is the main intention for me doing these roundups.
My Life is a 2016 release. You might be thinking of Rob's Life which is a re-skinned version of My Life (with Rob Hubbard as the main character) which was a special add-on for Kickstarter campaign.
@@RetroGamerNation I wasn't sure of the exact year. I simply meant that it's a pretty old game so I don't understand why it's in your November 2022 Round Up. That's it. Probably I just missed something. 😁
Oh I see. The Flashback section looks at older 'new' games. Anything between Year 2001 to 2017. It is to highlight games to people who only just came back to the C64 scene in the last 3 to 4 years and might have missed out on what has been released beforehand.
@@RetroGamerNation Haha, now I got it. Indeed I was also wondering about the "flashback" tag and expecting the homonym game... Sorry about that lol. 😅 (I'm subbed to your very interesting channel since much time ago, yet I can't pay the adequate attention to each details of your very good videos. I'm a woman with too little spare time... 😥)
