I thought your daughter was just staring up into the camera until I noticed the reflection on the storage box over the garage door. I love these C7s. Awesome work.
Love how the little girl sits out there with you guys watching both kids actually. Precious. I know there isnprob a TV there but either way they are out there with you. I think thats cool when they could be anywhere else watching TV or doing something else
Thanks for watching! Yeah, it’s one of my favorite things. There is indeed a TV that helps them stay entertained. You’re right, it’s good just being in the same room with them and it gives mom a break too. Sometimes my wife comes and sits out there with me late at night while I work too. I’m a very lucky guy.
I'm still not sure about that. On the one hand I was spinning and that helped dissipate a lot of my force. On the other hand, man, walls don't move at all. I know the car did a great job of protecting me and I'm, thankful for that.

@@RecordsRebuilds idea too, you could do the same as m539 restorations does and record you fixing the cars from a pov view and explaining what you're doing

Good stuff like the video of the 8-minute rebuild yeah I'm in that boat right now trying to make it to 1,000 subscribers getting close but not there yet like 600 and something so but a good good video I like to rebuilt and that's pretty funny with the end with the you said you thought you were something wrong with your car which is your head of gas those pretty funny

That thing is a hoot! It’s a Salvage car bought at the Wichita Copart and rebuilt (before I had a channel). It only has charge pipes, a CAI, and a tune. But that gets it up to 290 hp and 330 torque. Right now, the plan is to take it to SCCA Time Trials Nationals in 2023 and try to get on the podium.
The first two are songs RU-vid allows anyone to use. They are called “Nimbus Eveningland” and “Stinson.” The third song is an original by my brother Brian that I use often on the channel.
The time lapse was 1.5 hours long. If you figure a normal video is 30 frames per second and the time lapse was taken at 1 frame per second, I guess I spent about 45 hours working on it.
Good advice! Believe it or not, I was trying to just go slow and not wreck. Unfortunately, on that track, when it pours, the straight is the most dangerous place on the track.
What type of Solstice content do you like? Was the track video last week worth watching (I always struggle with deciding if that’s too boring). Is there anything else you are wanting to see? There’s a good chance I’ll try to take the Solstice to the SCCA’s Time Trials Nationals this year. That should generate some good content. You might even be able to stream video of the competition live.
That sounds good. I unfortunately had to use your waterpump video for help, but that jobs done. Anything else working on the car that’s informative as well as driving. There’s just not much content with the Solstice as a subject so as an owner who babies it I do hunt for content to watch, mostly maintenance related. But racing is fun too.
@@nathanielbailey108 Aw, dang, sorry man! That’s one job I never, ever want to do again. I agree, it’s crazy how small the following for the Kappa is. It’s an amazing car that is now incredibly cheap and they built a ton of them. My only complaint is that there’s not a lot of extra room.
Yeah, it was a pain but I learned a lot, then drove it 4000 miles :) I love that car, but it can’t be your only. You’ve gotta own something practical in addition. Even if it’s a vet, it at least has some storage.
Lol, I suppose it’s in the eye of the beholder. It’s a three car garage that fits 4 vehicles including a 2021 Suburban so it has to bet kept pretty organized in order to stay functional. Everything has its place, but the walls are not painted, and the floor is not coated and there are ugly tools everywhere so it looks messy on camera. For most of this video it was also littered with spare parts. So far, I have made a total of $210 on RU-vid. When it gets to $50,000, I promise I will build a new TV ready garage that is clean as a whistle. I don’t think that is very likely though ;)
