More great stories and wonderful memories. I love hearing about linked and synced methods of tuning Stromberg side draft carburetors. I tried as a kid to learn these tricks of getting a British Leyland 1976 MGB to be tuned and stable here by a Carlsbad British Leyland delear. The BL technician in his " white robe" failed royally to tell me that in our heat of SoCal, the oil in the top plunger 🪠 has to correct viscosity. From Carlsbad to Fallbrook on the way home the tuned dual Strombergs were dry of plunger oil again. Cannot pay more but certainly can get better! Cheers Mates 🍻
