@renal-dr7stGo back in your basement, blow on your cartridge of Zelda on your Nintendo and leave the rest of the sain world alone clown…….shoooo fly!! 🫵🏽🤨
Rich you need to bump up your video production.......everyone loves you. Ride Mikes success........plus you're like Wilson from Home Improvement....... you're the cool neighbor. Own it and make it a sweet retirement gig
Thanks for your advise at the end. My attitude towards my industry and people involved has been declining for several years now. Problem is it is justified but it still is my problem. I can’t expect others to change so I have to change how I let it get to me. And rise above it. God bless and thanks again.
Missed you Neighbor Rich. That C8 is beautiful but yours is a classic now with the front engine. Keep uploading videos as we look forward to seeing yours. Have a blessed day!
Rich I’m a C7 manual guy myself and have one. I have seen videos where a C7 Z06 pulls away from a c8 Z06 at highway speeds. The c8 z06 on launch control 2.5-3.0 0-60 all day every day we can’t do with a c7 manual. There’s no tire spin on c8 launch like our c7 manuals. It’s just gone. But c7 z06 has sooo much power on highway when dropping into 3rd gear. So much fun. And I couldn’t agree more on the looks of c7. I’m staying with c7 and will always be a manual guy so I’m staying away from c8 anything. Great video and love your positivity!
Rich, you have a weather mode also. At Ron Fellows there's an exercise where they wet down the pavement and test it out. It was nearly impossible to slip, although we used the Stingray for that portion. I always use that mode in the rain (Yes I drive it in the rain!) and that's why, it was proven to me its effectiveness. P. S. That decal is the Corvette Racing "Jake" Symbol not the Punisher. Similar though!
Howdy Neighbor!!! With that "Leaving on a Positive Note " quote, you got a new subscriber in me. I've seen you cameo on 717's channel past couple years, honestly never watched a video of yours till seeing that Red Corvette (That's a song right?) Beautiful Beast of a demonstration, convertible ZO6 w/Z07 package. That spec is the best combination I've seen yet, the vibrant red accented with beautiful black carbon and leather. Your C7 ZO6 is also tastefully built, literally both nearly spec'd the same. Very cool to see both generations of the latest Z06s , both blood red verts. It's a WIN.
Isnt it so strange that we live in a world where people are really excited and brag that they bought a car for what it is worth. Dealers really ruined the art of negotiating.
@@EmazingGuitar True but nowadays some of these stealerships seem to have no interest in offering a reasonable markup in price. Now they are just plain price gouging ppl because they can.
Great video “Sir Neighbor Rich”. The c8 has made great progress but I like the c7. I’m hoping to win that other 717 c7 ZR1 so I can become part of the 717 corvette fam!!
Brian has great taste beautiful C8 . But would you get one like his if it has chrome wheels on it 😂 just kidding I love your C7 whished the C8 had a Manuel transmission tho. We need more NBR- RICH can't wait for next video 👍💯🇺🇸
Neighbor Rich Awesome Video I'm glad you had a great time driving your friend Brian's Absolutely Gorgeous C8 Z06 Z07 and I think you should definitely get one someday and make sure you check your color filter because yours and Brian's Absolutely Gorgeous Corvettes look Orange and I agree that people should fix their attitudes to move forward in life
I’m hearing and reading a lot about the C8 having issues with the engine overheating. I know the C7 ZO6’s had a small number with same issue but it wasn’t near the level as the C8. If true, I don’t know, but I’ve heard they didn’t design enough air to get to the mid engine…the only thing cooling it is electric fans. I got one of the first C7 ZO6’s and I had no issue with anything until this year and it was corrected (thrust bearing).
@@NeighborRich Right, I agree 100%. I’m trying to figure out what to do about two issues (my 2015 ZO6) in which two of my wheels have cracked (each time discount tire told me they average around a dozen a month) and the thrust bearing on supercharger starting going out at 35K miles. Their are Tech Service Bulletins on the wheels and the thrust bearing was replaced with a different part number bearing, so it was definitely an issue. So somehow after ordering three new corvettes from local GM dealer they not only didn’t communicate these TSB’s to me, but they wouldn’t even assist when I contacted them. So I’m going to notify GM somehow and see if maybe I can get the other two wheels covered when they crack, and get in the loop on future TSB’s. Have you heard the horror stories of dealers destroying ZO6’s while servicing? Not lifting properly causing body damage. They destroyed one of my rear wheels from simply changing a tire the first week I got it and got mad at me because I made them buy new one and wouldn’t let them powder coat it!
Wow, rich, you've done some good Videos, but the Z07 package C8 That belongs to your friend Is a beautiful car!! I have always thought that your Z06 convertible is THE BOMB!! I hope you kept your "gift exhausts" from streetspeed 717!! You have really "taken stride"!! 👍👍😄
Great video. Question for ya, gm makes a fuel additive that they recommend to add to the gas. Ac delco fuel system treatment plus gasoline. Just curious about your thoughts. Have you ever used this in your Corvettes?
I didn't see anything wrong with the video production of this video. This makes the video end message regarding having a bad attitude ultra timely and appropriate.
I'm sure its the GoPro... I hear this often and there's nothing I can really do... It just doesn't do well with Red colors and makes them seem orange a lot.
@@MikeBarron-mn1cp Hi Mike… I absolutely remember and love that you still have your 70 Judge!!! Hope you’re doing well… DM me on Instagram at NeighborRich 717! 😊👍
Hi Rich, it's Robin and Steve. Please tell Brian, I said hello and that I was the lady in the white C8. We followed each other for about 5 miles. It was great to have 2 C8's driving around town together.
Seek Jesus, seek Mercy: when God gets in front of what we deserve, and Grace: when God takes what we don't deserve and gives it to us anyway. Thank him for the good, and treasure it so much that with faith, ( for without it no man can please God) good things remain in you.
Took my stingray in for an oil change today and my dealer just got a new red zo6 3lz convertible in. and it was for sale. beautiful car. But, 70k over sticker. if it was at msrp I would have traded my stingray in on the spot. crazy prices. They did say they were getting erays in around october and probably only 20k over on those. They said they think they will get a lot more erays than z06 so not as high a markup. if they stick to the 20k over i can get a pretty much loaded eray, but with no carbon, for about 130 sticker and 150 out the door. a lot cheaper than the 220 they wanted for that z06. btw they are still selling the stingrays at 20k over.
Serious Question for Bryan and any other big man reading this - do you fit inside that cockpit with the top up? I’m 6’1” and 215 # and barely get my head inside with my C8 coupe’s roof installed. I just bought a beautiful 2020 Rapid Blue with the racing seats and all the carbon fiber one can imagine and after the initial test drive and euphoria, now that it’s in my garage, I’m feeling very claustrophobic just sitting in it. My 2017 C7 coupe was quite roomy but this new one is so tight inside I’m thinking of selling it already after one week. If I do, after looking for so long for this car with all these options I wanted, my wife will know for sure that I’m crazy! Any suggestions? Would a clear plexiglass roof help! It had one but the previous owner kept it to go on his new 23 Corvette. Help!
