Bootyshaking a.k.a "Twerking" and Hip Hop is the first dance our culture learn at a very young age, just like Salsa, and Samba in other cultures. It isn't until we get older when we learn different styles of dance... I remember dancing like them when I was in elementary when artists like Sir Mix A Lot, Luke and 2 Live Crew, The Dogs,Clay D, and Splack Pack had videos on On the Set. We didn't have internet back then to record ourselves and put it on the web, we just did it in talent shows, and at house parties. It's just a fun style of dancing and other races are starting to embrace it. I'm 33 now,even though you would never guess it;) although I have studied various forms of dance styles, this is the one I have the most fun and it keeps me in great shape. I like watching Twerkteam because they keep me on my toes. The only difference b/t their generation and mine is that everyone is other nations and countries have access to what we do on our own neighborhoods.
