I enjoyed shooting it. Was my first time shooting the CA version. To be honest the mag disconnect doesn’t bother me as it doesn’t prevent the mags from dropping free, and the loaded chamber indicator doesn’t affect functionality. All in all I loved it, and the pro fits my hands even better! Thanks for watching!
I keep telling people it's a great gun. Man, they do y'all wrong in Cali gun. comes with an 11, 13, 15 and 17 round Mag and which I have all for my Hellcat.. But watch the holster you put it in because the finish comes off easily.
Just went to the gun range, and put 500 rounds of 147 grains through my hellcat micro. Hell up pretty good, not as snappy as p365 and the shield. Am impressed with my hellcat micro.
Bought an Sig 320 m18 December 6, loving it , January 6 bought a P365, I get to pick it up tomorrow. I put in a deposit for the hellcat pro two days ago. I think I have a problem 😂
@@meelahdghomeshihas to be a California resident to California resident. If he moved back, reported his pistols to the government, he can do it legally. Otherwise you’re gonna have to do workarounds. Him transfer to a child, parent, or grandparent, who then sells it to you. Bear in mind this straddles straw purchase territory, so be careful.
I just picked up my HCP in cali and noticed the mag doesnt release fully when the slide is locked back? Do you experience the same thing? Thank you for the review!
Thanks for the comment. I decided to check a few randomly to see if they have this issue. If the few I tried all dropped mags with the slide locked back.
Question: The mag doesn’t drop freely after pressing the mag release in my Hellcat CA version, does yours let the mag drop freely? If not, is the magazine disconnect thing the reason? It isn’t a problem for my P365 CA version tho, mag drops freely in my P365
@@hcjr781981 I lubricated the surface of the magazine disconnect lever in the mag well and the back of the magazines. After that they drop free most of the time. However, when the lubricant wears out or got wipe off, they don’t drop freely again. I am pretty sure the magazine disconnect lever that makes contact with the magazine is the culprit.
@@weduhpeople8504 yes, we don’t need the mag disconnect, but I don’t want to alter the firearm due to manufacturer's warranty. Also, We people in CA can’t pull a modified pistol on our CCW license.
That's an excellent question. I've seen guys color fill them with black, but I didn't think to ask if they removed the white first. I'll have to ask my buddy. I think he used the auto body touchup paint. Thanks for watching we appreciate you!
