Recently, one of my best friends confessed that he's had feelings for me for almost 3 years. I confessed the same. We've seen the ugliest versions of each other. We've been silly and gross and unapologetic over the years. We've watched each other date other people and we upheld foolish boundaries to pretend we didn't feel a thing. And now here we are. Two days ago, we slow danced to Caamp in the kitchen and openly giggled at the thought of finally being able to hold each other. Each day since, this song in particular has been the cause of uncontrollable smiles on my drive to work. Thank you.

I sat myself down and after breaking my hand on a tree from anger over someone I knew I needed to have a think. I said to myself everything’s that’s happened and what I need to do for myself because I was so lost for so long. I was about to put my sound cloud rap on my phone and smoke some weed but after scrolling through my tv and was about to turn it off I saw a tv program called Australia’s greatest country hits and I stopped to hear one song. After listening to itI now feel as if this song has changed my life completely I don’t know how to explain it. The lyrics, the way it was sung, everything about it hit me because I understood the lyrics. I think this changed my life in such a positive way. Thankyou
