Bill, this came up on my RU-vid feed and it’s been a while since I watched one of your videos. Your cab ride/free-mo posts are great, always lots of great modelling to see. I know Covid derailed a lot of plans, but will you be having any meets and posting any new videos in the near future?
Wow, to start out with such wonderful rock work... The switch controllers, where did you get them and whose are they??? I notice that a lot of the ties are almost buried in the dirt. This is prototypical as I have seen this in the yards in Laramie Wyoming... "Ballest must not be on top of the ties - what rubbish!!!!! I have the "stay alive" chip in my engines (TCS makes some good small ones) and they don't stop like yours did at around the 4:35 time line. They are not expensive at all... What is the height of the layout and where did you get the legs??? Love the fly at the 6:20 time. Is that to scale??? hahaha I see the fellow in the red shirt has one of the new controllers that act more like the real engines. I just an not see the cost... The switch controllers at the 9:28 time line are just so good that I want to have some. Where can I get them??? The "stay alive" chip would stop all of the abrupt speed changes.....Time line about 9"50 to 9:58... I'd love to know how to make some of those odd angled cross overs as I need some on my new layout. Is there a book or something on how to hand lay them???
the people that put that layout together are to be commended beautiful just not quite sure if I want to be on any of those trains at the interlocking / diamond's at grade. afraid of being tee boned by the main Line traffic
