Hello Matt, this is a very informative video. I could not figure out why our layout shuts off randomly with the Mobile Control II throttles, but now I know why. I'm too much of a man to read the instructions! ;)
Quick questions how do I reset the ICU? And what should I look for as far as lights flashing or some sort of notification that the system has been reset?
Hello; Great product. I have the version by PIKO, which appears to be your unit. Are your videos applicable to the PIKO? Their more technical videos are in German and I had 2 semesters of German in College 50 years ago, so I'm lost. I agree with the viewer who commented on the value of support videos. Thanks
PLEASE HELP!!! i'am going crazy with Cabcontrol... in Austria After turning the unit on in accordance with the instruction manual I tried to connect to the WIFI controll Box, the WIFI signal for the unit appears on the hand controller however when I tell the hand controller to connect it asks for a WIFI password. I have searched and found 123456789, does not work! Then full reset from unit and control, does not work no Wifi connection possible to the box unit / controller ;(
Hi Matt, I'm having an issue with the controller, it can find the ICU WIFI signal fine however it doesn't connect automatically and when I do manually select the ESUWIFI it asks for a password... I tried entering the ICU ID found on the base of the unit but that did not work? Is there a password for the WIFI? I'm really looking forward to using the system but at the moment it's not connecting...

I was getting so frustrated, would you believe I tried typing in 12345678 but left the number 9 out because the 'connect' button illuminated after 8 characters so I assumed it was an 8 character password. Thanks again, it would be nice if there was something written in the manual about a default password for instances like this (or I somehow missed it?).
I cannot get the throttle to save locos to the ICU. After a power down of the ICU all locos are lost.. You do not cover how to save locos. Also how do you upload your own loco pictures into the system.
When connecting devices as seen in the video track power is off and nothing happens when pushing the START BUTTON II ControlUnit shows a blinking green light and cannot change the status When throtle works in DEMO MODE red light turns into green normally..-What can I do?
I can not understand why ESU only does this system for the North American and Australian Markets. In Europe we have to buy both Ecos 50210 and the mobile control II. This will end in at least 950 euro. More than twice the money than this system. Don't you want customers from EU any more?
Why would I get the cab controml set, with no screen/display just the handheld(quite small) when I can have the Ecos 50210 command station AND as many ESU WiFi controllers as I want. The price isn't that much more BTW. So it has 7amps and the 50210 has 6, BIG DEAL!
A lot of us don’t hang place to stick a big control unit (mine is based on t trak so non permanent) so spending an extra $300 for something I won’t use doesnt seem wise.
