So I’m Chinese and I always fly United airlines to China (haven’t flown since summer 2019) AND WHEN I COME BACK TO THE US THERES ALWAYS THIS ONE FLIGHT ATTENDANT. FOR YEARS. I SEE HER EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Yeah but if you know about the incident on delta with doctor mike and the other guy with anaphylaxis where they didn't have an epi pen? Yeah, the crew can be trained but they also need the correct equipment.
Being cabin crew, if there is a medical emergency on the plane, we make a PA asking if there are any medical professionals onboard. Yes, we are trained to handle situations like strokes/heart attacks/ect, but medical professionals do it way more often, and often times can recognize underlying symptoms to provide better treatment.
Probably but once when my grandparents (who are doctors) were on a plane, a guy was having a panic attack because he was scared of flight and the cabin crew asked for a doctor to help calm him down or check if he had anything physical wrong with him and stuff. But ye, probably doesn’t happen too often
Imagine her family or friends calling her while she slept for 30 hours and panic running to her house and seeing her there looking dead but she was just asleep
That has happened to me before. Work triple-shift in 5 days in a row and I slept like dead in my day off. My mom couldn’t wake me up so she panicked. When to bed in my room and woke up in emergency room 😅😅😅
Yep i've slept for more than a day before 😂 i go a few days without sleeping at all due to work etc and then have one long sleep. It was a very confusing feeling when i woke up
She rlly makes me want to be cabin crew by travelling the world and getting lots of money. But I will never be able to be cabin crew because I get travel sickness, I'm tired 24/7 and I'm not good with talking to people yet
I'm watching this with a dad who's a pilot, let's see what I already knew! Part 1: yup, here he has an option to wait at home and have an hour to get to the airport if called Part 2: I don't know about this one since my dad doesn't talk to me about this one Part 3: My dad is a pilot so he doesn't have that Part 4: My dad usually just takes turns with the co-pilot flying or they turn on the autopilot Part 5: he had a different training but every month he has trainings Part 6: I didn't know this one Part 7: we've never had to do that so I don't know Part 8: I didn't know this either, that's interesting Part 9: my dad has never told me about this Part 10: My dad only speaks 2 languages, English and our native language Part 11: Probably with my dad but idk Part 12: My dad flies with the same people quite a lot Part 13: it works on ranks and veterans in this airline Part 14: it depends on the flight Part 15: I actually didn't know that Part 16: My dad just, idk, he uses magic Part 17: Yep, family can also fly with standby tickets. I believe we only pay boarding tax tho
When she says “let’s go “ I need that after my alarm goes off as a happy motivational quote lool I think hearing that would make me get out of bed motivated 👯♀️👯♀️👯♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻🙌🏼🥳🥳🙌🏼🙌🏼 lets go
Me wanting to be a fashion designer when i grow up but then i see this and i swear i searched up the requirments so i can become a flight attendant but i barely sleep anyway haha even though id wanna be one lmao
After watching this I have gained so much more respect for cabin crew, like, I knew they had to do alot but this surpasses what I originally thought, it is really amazing
This almost made me want to become a cabing crew befor remembering that I'm an introverted little shit who loves humanistic subjects and wants to stay alone all day lonh
i fucking hat eheights too, i almostdie when i look down from the thing that separates the airplane and the waiting room. but once i’m in the plane, i dnt care anymore lol i just get scared of the rollercoaster feeling
LOVE this video - made me laugh! I’ve had 35 glorious years flying for Air Canada. Took a leave and....just graduated with a MA from Harvard, Nov 2020! Thanks for the shout-out 4:55! Best job in the world - can’t believe the incredible adventures I’ve had, and life-long friends I’ve made, as Cabin Crew! I’m grateful every day!
Being a flight attendant has its perks (the travelling🤩), but there are also some very difficult things about it. It's not a normal job, with normal working hours, and also you work during holidays like christmas and stuff, so you have to be really committed
Haa after 2.5 years followed and researched about fly attendant. I learned so much and look at aviation jobs differently. I appreciate more especially nice fly attendant.
My moms been a flight attendant for 40 years. (Yes she’s 65 now) and all I know is they make bank 75$ an hour, and she’s gets a prepaid hotel for 1-5 days or however long she stays on her trip. Honestly I wouldn’t mind being a flight attendant. You get to travel the world, and your family flights are free! :^D
Wow varicose veins were never an issue for me until I started experiencing leg weaknesses throughout the days. Sometimes I feel normal weight and sometimes its like I’m walking with full potato sacks on each should and sometimes I straight up gain 500 lbs in an instant and it get really hard to breath. But you have to keep freaking moving to not get sicker😖
Omg that asking each person a question around a table sounds like the most stressful thing ever😭 if i'm asked on the spot like that imma forget everything
Playing the catch up game with sleep is always a gamble, I get off my overnight and sometimes I feel fine and I don't sleep until a few hours later and sometimes I drop dead at the front door and I sleep for nearly 20hrs, when I say I've literally lost days to sleep it's insane. Overnights and shifts longer than 9hrs are crazy for the human brain
When I was a kid, I always go in vacation with plane.. the most exciting part for me is meeting flight attendants.. I mean,, they're so beautiful with their smiles..😍 ugh,, I miss travelling by plane... Just want to see flight attendants..
Ok, I’m sure I sound dumb for saying this, but I’m glad you guys get breaks on the long flights! I guess I sort of always figured that you just had to do a long haul like hospital workers who get stuck on call shift. It makes me happier knowing y’all get to sleep/eat.
I love her but 3 years later I recalled why I hated my height 😅 cuz I wanted to be a cabin crew but i knew I'd not be very tall when I grow up (I'm 153 now😟)
The whole free ticket but only if it's stand by thing I already know because my Nana was cabin crew and whenever she visits us she doesn't always know when she'll get here or when she'll be able to go back home because it's standby. 😊
This makes me want to do this but I’m scared of planes, of heights and I get light headed very easily. I also want to be a therapist but school is hard-
