I think it’s just when they need the staff lovely, the turnover for crew it quite high I’ve noticed they hire every year. BA have just done a huge intake of recruitment for the summer 🤍✨
Hi jessi, really appreciate the videos. Wondering if you could do a Q&A on TUI, the wage differences and explain sectors. Also about how the seasonal contract works with TUI. Sorry for the 101 questions, just waging up airlines. Thank you in advanced 🥰
Heyy Jessi, when you apply for any role at BA, is it normal for them to take time to get back to you? I applied for a role and didn’t get in and they got back to me very quickly to say I didn’t get in, but this other role, they haven’t gotten back to me yet, is this normal or a good sign? Thank you xx
Hey lovely! I’m not entirely sure if I’m honest with other roles as I’ve never applied for any other roles in BA. I’ve always been told if it’s usually after 2 weeks & you’ve not heard anything take it as a no. I’m sorry I can’t be of much help!!🤍✨
Thank you!! Glad they’ve helped. You’re supposed to live within 2 hours for airport standby as your minimum call for home standby is 2 hours to get to the airport. However there are lots of crew who don’t live within 2 hours and they just travel somewhere for the home standby to wait until it’s over. Hope this helped! 🤍✨
You really did explain everything so well one of the best cabin crew videos I have watched and I have watched a lot!! I have my assessment day beginning of February 22 only question That nobody has answered In any videos is when you are down route do you have your own room or do you have to share with other crew etc??
Thank you so much that’s so kind!! I really appreciate it so much! Congrats on getting your assessment day you’re going to be amazing! When you’re down route you will always have your own room with BA you will never share a room. Hope this helped!✨🤍
I worked in the travel agents with TUI I wasn’t cabin crew with them. I’ve heard they’re a great company to work for as crew however contracts are seasonal. They’re currently hiring!🤍💫
There is a mock up aircraft door with a label where the manual slide release handle is. You have to be able to keep your hand holding on whilst being able to reach down and pull the manual lever at the same time. I’m 5ft 3 I did it but I did find if I was any smaller I would have struggled.
This was such a lovely and reassuring video. I have my assessment day on Thursday and I’ve been wondering so many things. Your take on the relationships side of it was music to my ears! 🫶
Hi! Thank you so much for such an informative video! I have passed my virtual assessment day and I am just waiting for my dates to start my training! I just have 2 questions: How long is it till I will hear about my training date as I’m aware that I cannot book annual leave 3 months from starting and I have lots of holidays booked up until June! Obviously I would cancel them if need be but it would be ideal if I could still take them as they have continuously been cancelled for the last 2 years! 😂 Also I was just wondering as I live in Newcastle so I know I will have to commute, are there many crew that do commute? And if so how? Thanks so much again! 💕💕💕
@@avinashpatil3069 hi so it was on Microsoft teams with about 30 ish other people to see how you would communicate with others. They would then take you away and put you in a separate ‘room’ if you like and would ask for your passport and would check for any tattoos (they did not at any point ask about height or weight, I guess they’re just trusting that you read the requirements and stick to them). They would then put you back into the other room with everyone else and would slowly take you each out to a seperate room to conduct your role play, once this is completed they will take you through to a one on one interview and then you’re free to leave! The whole thing took about 4 hours in total. Hope this helps!
Thank you for watching! Many crew. travel from very far I had a few friends travel from Newcastle! The time for the date is uncalled, it is literally a waiting game it was the bane of my life! Mine took around 6 months 🤍✨
Loving these videos! I have my virtual assessment day in two weeks which I will have to take on my phone while backpacking in Sri Lanka! Week hoping that doesn't effect how it goes x
