Thank you for sharing! I like your cam locks. Can you share where you purhcased it? I've been searching thru the internet but does not have that extra plate which will hold the lock not rotating. Kindly appreciate it! Thank you
mascarenas ramon Yes . These are Olympus locks . A little more pricey than others but well worth it . Unfortunately the plates are not available ( from what I can tell ) separately . I wish they were since they would work on most cam locks to upgrade or repair , plus the center screw keeps the castle nut from coming loose.
I wouldn’t feel able to do this myself What sort of person would I need to get in touch with to install some key locks on cupboards at home? A Locksmith? A Carpenter?
More secure maybe but not very user friendly in my opinion. It would require umlatching of both catches simultaneously making it a 2 handed operation and a bit awkward. when I need a more secure installation, for example, medical supplies, or when it is a larger door that will flex, i install those little slide bolts top and bottom
