CABLE TROLLEY WATER CROSSING 

This video helps restore my faith in other hikers. Trail maintenance is a big one for me. You don`t see a lot of that on RU-vid and even less in the real world. Unless they are being paid to maintain the trail! Trail improvements WoW! The other thing I was thinking was the outdoors can be a great gym. Do a few hours of work and get a great workout. But when you are done ... you have done something other than move weight up and down.

Ya I hear ya on trout fever:) Trout season opens in late May around here... Kinda pumped up for it!!! We clean'em and cook'em right next to the creek - YUM!!!

I like the Cable Crossing, now You can have some Fun while crossing the high water.

Great video brother and definitely good looking out! If I may make a suggestion.... I dunno if you have two spare cables but making a small rock step to get the cable up high enough to where you could run a lower second cable for feet would be awesome! I hate to hear y'all are in a drought situation, we can't seem to get any rain here in GA lately either. I'll be praying y'all get plenty of rain soon.

Ed, really great idea to install the cables to allow safe crossing. You did a lot of hard work...so much so you needed a nap and hot chocolate - (no cookies :)? Your approach is all wrong. Build a very large trebuchet and launch Becky across. Granted she will have to learn how to land (tuck and roll), and she might get branches up her nostrils upon landing.....and maybe a mild concussion, but she'll get across. I'm really surprised you didn't think of this - it's so blatantly obvious. Take care
