At the Present time I have 2 1978 Peterbilt 359's undergoing Restoration. And one 1976 KW W900 Bicentennial Edition Aerodyne waiting in line for its turn. I get Parts from Salvage yards across the Country. Or just Fabricate new .
2002 was the last year for North American Kenworth’s and Pete’s freightliner made cabovers for America up until 2016 with the argosy being the last North American cabover
Hey buddy I'm restoring two 359 1980s Pete dump truck and after that get that 1989 cabover pete fix so I can make money with all of them. I agree there is nothing wrong with buying stuff from a junk yard. Do what you can and that is the best you can do. That's a beautiful K 100 keep up the good work and thank you for the gander at that beautiful ole truck.

Nice Kenworth . You have the very rare K136 cabovers with the set back front axle the second one I've ever seen. The first one was a 1996 K136 with the large Aerodyne sleeper with every option at the time.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Good stuff!! I grew up going to junkyards with my dad & I would see some awesome cars/trucks at times & really wonder why they were in there. It seemed that they pulled a truck in that had been just used for a trip & they decided to junk it. That was heartbreaking for me as a kid, but I didn’t know what I know now. I loved climbing up into a truck & checking it out & pretending that I was driving it out on the road. I loved it!! I’ve found some great parts in those junkyards. We saved a few vehicles over the years. My dad wouldn’t junk a car until all the good parts, doors & hoods were gone. They were some good times that I had with my dad! Your truck shines up pretty well & I’m sure you get lots of good comments over the radio! Cabovers sure are Attention Getters! They get our attention anyway! I’ve ridden in many cabovers, mostly with my oldest brother & loved them. My dad bought a 1970 K100 & I loved it at the age of 5. I would climb up into it & take a nap in the bunk. He knew where to find me when the truck was home! I cried when it burned up on the highway! The M11 Cummins is said to have decent power & gets good fuel mileage. I’ve never driven one so I’m not sure what to think about them. Cabovers Rule!! 🥰🤩✌️
Wow, just found your channel... Sheesh, looks like new! Great job. I drove M11's with 10sp Roadrangers in Freightshakkers delivering gas. I liked em! Jakes worked great on em too. Your truck sure is nice. I sware they'd sell like hot cakes if they were to start makin cab overs again. I always liked driving and working on them.
Very nice tractor. You should be proud of your ride. A persons vehicle tells you a lot about the person that owns it. And she is tight looking. And btw, if you didn’t have rock chips, it wouldn’t be a workin truck

Love it brother, you did a good job on that beauty. Nice work on the dash, that is my biggest problem with my 84' International 9670. You are correct in your remark about finding parts for these old trucks. I frequent International, Cummins and a Junk Yard not too far from me for my parts. Sometimes I get lucky with eBay and some of the other on-line truck parts sites. Good luck to you brother... HOOAH!!!
I used a short piece of flex behind turbo which runs into a y pipe from a t600 or w900 it’s an actual y not a T like most you find it sets it up perfect just had to search the salvage yard really till I had the puzzle completed but if you watch my slideshow on the truck there is a shot of everything I found that worked including the y pipe thanks for watching and subscribing buddy any other questions I’d be happy to help man
Lol you can look directly beside you to check your blind spot in a cabover you sit about a foot higher than most other trucks and don’t have a hood to mount blind spot mirrors on without it if there is a car over there you ain’t seeing it till it’s crunch time lol
