Lorick has such a unique sound. Specifically this piece and his "Odessa" I think sound so cool because of the constant changing of registers with incessant permutation-y melodic lines. For instance like at 5:14, 9:05 and 10:20. You can tell this piece was written for the marimba because this is a MARIMBA composition. I cannot imagine this being arranged for anything else, and it's so cool because of it.

That was a truly deeply moving, beautiful, and powerful performance, and I couldn't have stumbled upon it at a better time, so I thank you very much for taking the time to record it, even if that was two years ago.
