Here is an update on some of the cactus seedlings we showcased in the last video as well as a closer look at some other plants that are at various stages of their growth cycle. We showcase what some cactus look like at different stages of growth, as well as show that every species grows at different rates. Thank you for watching and we hope you enjoy!

"mix and match" pots of yearlings is fun idea. i like to create "desert scapes" with my cactus plants and that implies polyculture as opposed to monoculture. transplant a bunch of different yearlings into pots together then enjoy the wee view. thanks for the inspiration.

Curious about why you choose to acclimate them to low humidity so early into their lives, I tend to keep my seedlings enclosed until around the 6 month mark and occasionally burp it for a quick second to help prevent mold growing, I've tried acclimating early like this before and it slowed down growth by around half Awesome plants and love the video

Its because of rot most of the species I grow are rot prone. Long ago I had a conversation with Mr Steven Brack of Mesa Gardens and he discouraged me from the baggie method because of the species I was sowing and to use window screen instead and mist the window screen cover. I will put the plastic on if its going to be hot or I'm away and can't mist them and they are still small ~ first Summer.
