That’s how I’m watching these shows. They might be a bit rough, especially when adapting to whatever Disney throws at them, but there’s enough character development and world building to make them worthwhile if not necessary.
@jackreynolds2144 cob didn't try to defend him Cad opened up with it I'm just saying he has no room to talk about being a cold blooded killer he did worse stuff then boba and was doing it way before boba was in the trade
This fits so well. I would lower the music volume a bit, especially during dialogue, but this makes me wish this is the official music we got in the series. Well done!
This is honestly the best edit I have seen of this clip that I have seen. The timing ⏱ is perfect well done. The only place it feels a bit weak is when Cad gives his message you can’t really hear it because of the music but except That it is absolute perfection well done. It makes the seem more intimidating and feels more western like which is one of the things that I love about Star Wars. Thank you so much for this edit. Xx
Thank you! When editing I always try to edit with the music as a base, and I agree, I tried to edit the music just a bit to tone it down but it just didn’t want to play along haha. Thanks for the comment!
"Is that just friendly advice, or is that a threat?" Bane's reaction to that is brilliant. He's clearly thinking "okay, guess he aint as slow as he looks." And then he shifts gears to try and talk him down even though he has no real intentions of letting Vanth walk away. Such a well written and filmed scene from all parties involved.
Plot flaw...Cad Bane says at 0:57 'I'd be careful where I was sticking my nose if I was you', only trouble is, he doesn't have a nose, so that would not be a turn of phrase you would expect him to use.
In a behind the scenes conversation, they said his character was inspired by the character Lee Van Cleef played in The Man With No Name trilogy. Cad bane and young Boba Fett had some of the best episodes in the clone wars cartoon. Wish we wouldve gotten more screen time for both of these characters.
@@te179 “speak of the devil, and he shall appear” “Nobody cared who I was until I put on the mask” “The darkness betrays you, because it belongs to me”
You do realize that Cad Bane is one of the greatest bounty hunters in the history of Star Wars right? Man has competed against some jedi and came out on top before. Of course the 2 guys here got whacked.
The best thing about this scene is that it doesn't belittle Cobb Vanth. Cobb is an excellent quick draw and it left the question of how good he is up in the air by implementing the third guy distracting him for a small but pivotal fraction of time so that he couldn't keep his eye on Cad Bane to fully commit to the duel to draw with full attention on Cad.
Vanth is still slower than Bane, but the scene works so well because he's slower by literal fractions of a second, he is probably the second best quickdraw gunslinger next to Bane and the only reason he gets so truly outplayed here is his Deputy fucking him over, it means we as a viewer has to basically guess "Was Cobb Vanth actually going to win this?"
I don't understand why people weren't happy the way he looked , my first reaction was that he looked like a fucking demon. There are a lot worse costume jobs done currently in star wars than his.
@@theoneaboveall4533 The Grand Inquisitor in Kenobi looked fine to me. Yeah they could have done CGI to make him look more like his species but it looked fine.
