Since you designed the thread.. keep in mind that thread are different depending on a molded bolt vs. a machined bolt.. :-) Now the next Exercise would be to design a correct bolt. :-) Else good job.. keep practicing.. :-)
the clip is quite fast, can't catch the link you shared. can you paste the link here ? I just tried this onshape this morning and it was my 1st time using a CAD software. managed to create a L-shaped joint with holes for screws.
ok video to show how to create an spiral extrusion. very bad for creating a model of a screw that get used in a bigger design in an assembly. Never create the threads on a standard part, it will make bigger assemblies extremely slow and harder to constrain properly. BTW, dimension the Thread with the dimensions of the general definition of the thread: minor diameter and angle of the thread profile.
extremely annoying and frustrating to try to follow along with this because it's in the ABYSSMAL format of a RU-vid Short... can't rewind at all, have to watch the whole thing again for a chance to understand what you clicked on, and there's no audio. it gets plenty of views, but for all the wrong reasons. 👎🏻 not friendly to users trying to learn
Tap the screen to pause. The red dot at the bottom can be dragged back and forth. Hope this improves your experience watching shorts in the future. I think the short form content is more meant to convey the process and features used when making the part rather than teach the details.
