In this video, I review , compare, and test the CADA servo that is compatible with the Lego technic power functions system. CADA was kind enough to send these motors in for test, however you can assure yourself that I am giving my own opinion and showing you all of its pros and cons.

Why would I Buy Cada? Lots of non-proportional servo motors can be had for a quarter of the price. Cada missed the boat here. Had they made it proportional they would sell thousands immediately. Great video.

Yeah I do see your point, I haven't seen any proportional offbrand servos 😅😢

Geek servo is a Lego compatible proportional servo but you have to use an rc radio.

Yes, I have seen those I wouldn't mind trying them out, but then I also have to find a motor, a receiver and a remote, and a battery too so...

@@Merlins_Technic_Garage > I also have to find a motor You can use Lego PF motors (original or not) with a brushed ESC (electronic speed controller). Yes, this setup requires some soldering skills, but the result is outstanding. I played a lot with Lego PF / CaDA, then tried this RC setup with a geekservo and it was definitely worth the effort. I don't think I'll use Lego electronics again (at least, for cars) :)

@@Merlins_Technic_GarageMould King had a proportional servo, but it was killing Mould King’s hub, so they have discontinued this servo.

Has anyone found a proportional PF servo motor? If yes, where is it for sale?

Mould king got a proportional servo but they pull it off the shelves because of starting a battery fire with it
