That... was... AWESOME!!!! Sure, it doesn't have the dramatic, rushing feeling that the original had, but the choice in metal really gave a heightened sense of spite from -Spoiler Data Expunged-, not to mention a more concerned, on the verge of a mental breakdown feel from Cadence! Well Done sir, Well DONE!
yeah, i dig this man, it's pretty good, feels like you took some inspiration from metalcore and progressive metal, it was well executed and fit the original song fairly well
In my opinion, this is the kind of song that needs the dramatic feeling that the metal just doesn't provide. It's still a nice piece, but I think it would've sounded nicer with the orchestration left in. But as always I still appreciate hard work. Nicely done, sir.
Imo, I think it could have worked even better with Evil Cadence's part as metal while leaving Real Cadence's part orchestral. I also think Bats! (Just One Simple Fact) would have worked fantastically with AJ's parts metal vs. Fluttershy's parts being acoustic.
DusK ~ VGM ReMixer and Composer No worries. You generally make good music, but I just don't think "This Day Aria" made a good metal cover. Heh, I still love listening to your cover of Winter Wrap Up, as well as the "Smile" one. But as I said, I know you put time and effort into this, and I can appreciate that. Keep up what you're doing. (Also, nice work on the Shinobi 3 music from the Genesis! Excellent game from my childhood!)
Sorry, no can do. There's just too much legal red tape to navigate through to put covers on that platform. I'll be fixing the download links soon, though.
