Every time I see this advert on television, I am left with a feeling of instant melancholy about it. As a nation, we have been amazed about the intricate design of this chocolate for decades, but it was not until this particular advert came around that we have been able to truly appreciate the amount of true craftsmanship that this chocolate bar has. I think this advert is done in such a way that it is able to capture the feeling and sentiments of the nation. The advert is done in a jokey way, but at the same time there is a beautiful and deep resonance about this advert. Truly Sublime!
Turn the sound down. She to him, all wistful: It looks like a Twirl but it's much smaller than usual. He to her: You're right. It cost the same though. She: Yeah. I know. Like the Twixes and the Toffee Crisps. No wonder we feel so sad.
mondelez destroyed cadbury, a family run sensation, now it's a pile of dog food, don't bother with cadbury, bother with mcvitie's and mars, family run companies
i think these ads are absolutely genius myself .. so simple yet effective and not badly acted at all - this is exactly how i would perceive the teenagers cast as this to act in this way
Have Cadbury given up? This ad is so boring! I get the idea they’re tryna portray here is similar to Starburst ads but this just seems so dull! The lighting, the script, the performance is just forgettable garbage!! Bring back the fun Cadbury adverts please
To me this ad is far from boring! In fact it is the only one I have looked up on the internet to discover more. Beautifully written and acted, the 'awkwardness' that some have complained about is well observed by the writers and well portrayed by the actors.
