💓I do love Selmar’s laugh on those days when there is not much to smile about he brightens the room & just makes one smile alongside yourself Stephane & all La Landers💓
Stéphanie, I have to say something...I love everything about La Lande, the people, the château, the garden, but what really blows me away is.... your father’s paintings. The sheer size, the whimsy, the wealth of details, and the absolute out of the box creativity. What an artist. If I may make a suggestion, why not do a video about your father’s paintings to give us the opportunity to observe and appreciate them, and for you to give us a few insights about some of them?
Thank you Elizabeth!!! I was Evan Hansen in Brazil, i did that show, so i have the book. Hahahaha... But i loved the kind gift, my birthday is almost here, december 4th. I wold like to give the book to the music library at the winter salon, they need more musical theatre sheet music. Thank you so much. Love, and take Care!!! Kisses everybody, missing Lalande!
I don’t often laugh out loud at things while watching vlogs, but your story of your mother accidentally setting fire to the Christmas tree and telling the landlord it was a French tradition, made me burst out with laughter. I could just imagine her sitting with you explaining herself and laughing with you.
The song is In My Life. A particular favorite I shared with my oldest brother who sadly left us in 2012. I've been thinking of him all day so it was no surprise that you received a gift that would speak to me of him.
Beatles Song 'In My Life' Nati's necklace is perfect on the jumper she is wearing. The portraits are brilliant. The Lalande stamp is superb. The gifts are so thoughtful and kind.
Stephanie, I think for next year you need to set up the Chateau de La Lande merch shop. Limoge, Brocanrte finds. 😂 Etc. Another income source for La Lande. You know, in your spare time.
Funny, but I think Stephanie would have preferred not to see the roots in her painting. It was something she said when she got her hair done recently which made me realise how embarrassed she was by them.
John Singer Sargent got a lot of money for his painting of Lady Agnew of Lochnaw. The artist who painted that portrait of Stephanie gifted it to her. I would be very grateful for such a wonderful gift and even invite the artist for a stay.
It would be lovely if photographs of each gift were posted online along with thanks to each generous giver. The handmade gifts are the most special to me and perhaps emails posted so others could order things like the jewelry made by the two sisters.
@30:10 Selmar putting the treat in his pocket...reminded me so much of Isabelle! 😂 Really loved watching! You all are such a bright light at Lalande! Thank you for sharing...take really good care, stay well, stay safe! Much love from Canada 💖
I do so enjoy watching you all open the gifts. The looks on your faces as each new item shows its self are amazing. You all are so happy and grateful for everything you get. Hugs kimmy.
Another lovely present day......heard you will be back in lockdown again, we are also heading that way here in Toronto.......I hope that Scotsman will be there for Christmas.......best wishes to you all and stay safe.........Donna in Toronto
So sorry. America wi be lockdowned in January. Whats truly crazy, the CDC updated the numbers (the media has been silent about it) and the numbers are so much less than pneumonia, flu, etc.. Why the lockdown? Idk if the numbers were just for us or worldwide.
I am DETERMINED that my package, sent to ward La Lande on 17th of AUGUST will turn up. Either at La Lande OR here at my house in the UK! Beautiful envelope with a lovely little dragon fly on it 💜🤩
Love the jewelry and explanations of what the metals or stones would stand for when you war them. The candles for the tree will be perfect. I place the twinkling candles in the front windows of my home every night all year long! ( After dark they go on) I love them so much! It is hard finding the lovely candles as you now have for the tree to make it look like years gone by when people truly did place real candles on their tres. They did not have any other way to light up the evergreen but as Stephanie was saying it can be dangerous to do it that way though too So this is much easier and safer. Think you will love them! Such lovely gifts. Stephanie is so wonderful in how you share your gifts with everyone there. Diesel loved his special treat too! Each time he just waits as he wants to open a gift too. He knows just what you are doing and think he just waits for this time every week!? The portrait of Stephnie was stunning with her nice bright smile! Very beautiful. The picture if Isabelle was fabulous (In the garden) The sounds seemed just a bit "Muffled?" Sending love to all..
Diesel has the cutest little fluffy head. Love when he pokes into the shots. 46:37 Diesel is listening to Stephanie.😂😂 Love when Diesel and Ruby also get gifts. ❤️
Love the watercolor of Isabel -- so delightful and so Isabel. Also, agree with Geoffroy -- your father's paintings are amazing and I always look and look at them. A Sunday with your father's paintings would be delightful
Can we have close up of the presents. My first comment, sorry it is negative. I have watched Stephanie since the very beginning, The Chateau diaries, Sunday at the Chateau and the cadeaux opening. I am French living in the UK ,Isabelle’s age with a similar character. Really enjoy all the different friends, family and volunteers who pass through La Lande. Love your chateau, love your taste and your imagination. Dream on and finish all your projects.
Kidney care who helped me in the pandemic. They help people with kidney disease with supporting them with treatment and dialysis get always! They really do a great job!
The Secret Life of Bees is a very special book. I read it in a class when I was doing my English degree and, once I'd started, I couldn't put it down. Happy reading! xox
Yes, ever so lovely. As always, am in awe of the ☄talent & generosity☄ out there. •The 🎨painting🖌 of Stephanie made her look like an animated 👑Disney Princess. •Great ✏drawing of mummy surrounded by her wonderful garden bounty🌱. •Amazing jewelry. •The ⚜Lalande stamp is stunning! I imagine the supply of colored wax will be put to good use too. •Great kitchen, crafty & garden aprons. A home can never have too many hot pads or trivets. Plus, the latter items often go missing. 🕯What could be better that remote control tree candlelights!? 🍬 Great sweet treats, but however tasty I would abstain from eating crispy (real life) critters. They are far more adventurous! •Fab fine China for Isabel & Marie. Love those patterns & colors. 😎Nick will look great in his new cap! If he wears dark glasses, he can still remain incognito. [Hope the adorable Antoine enjoys his time with his grandparents!🐴] 😔Forgive me for forgetting some of those gifts🎁. May both the givers & receivers be as blessed as the viewers!
love to each of you as you are soo Blessed to be together in these times! I'm excited to watch each episode. It helps to get through the lockdown with good company and new adventures!
Crickets 🦗 we eat them in Mexico it’s a Oaxaca traditional snack, I personally love them, but not all of us eat them. We usually have them with 🌶 Loved the videos! Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
I so love watching these cadeaux videos! You all have such fun and share so much love for eachother and the world! Seeing the thoughtfulness of your many gifts brings joy to all who watch!
Such fun, so many wonderful gifts, and an amazingly beautiful outpouring of love... thank you for sharing your lives, Stephanie and all LaLanders! 🙏🏻🏰🗼💗⚜️💜⚜️💗🗼🏰🙏🏻
Oh, the childlike joy of the LaLande gang tonight, especially eating the crickets (Philip, you were so brave to go first:) and the race to unwrap the bubble wrapped LaLande beer mug. Cheers to all of you!
Loved, loved, loved the Christmas tree story, too funny, I really had a good laugh. Those candles are fantastic !! Love the portrait, fantastic !! The picture of mummy, it's extraordinary. Crickets are what you eat lost, stranded for days in the woods, lol. Looks like Diesel was expecting more treats. Mandy? Mandy great vlogging, I thought, except it was slightly hard to hear, but I just plugged my earphones in.
"In my life" by the Beatles (I think it's off the Rubber Soul album) is famous for its harpsichord interlude. It was playing in the hospital infant unit the night my first child was born and his dad rocked him to it.
