In the English rapping scene being labelled a storyteller changed because of people like Rapman who create these stories to spread awareness but Cadet is making music about his life, that’s why storyteller isn’t accurate to his type of music. He’s in a league of his own.

There's nothing wrong with being described as a storyteller. It's not easy to be able to engage people the way he does! We know it's true, that's not the point (it enhances it). It's the skill of it. I enjoy most of his work, but people will naturally be drawn into his more personalized, emotional tracks.

Cadet is rapping about his life and it’s all true, he’s not creating extra stories, he’s just rapping about his life experiences. The word storyteller is used for people who create stories based on experiences, either their own or friends of theirs have gone through something but they sometimes adapt their stories or add things that aren’t true into their songs.
