The game Cadillacs and Dinosaurs was based on the comic book series Xenozic Tales. The game was produced as a tie-in to the short-lived Cadillacs and Dinosaurs animated series which was aired during the same year the game was released. A version for the Capcom Power System Changer was planned and previewed but never released. Up to three players can play at once, guiding their selected characters through eight stages, battling various enemies and bosses. There are four playable characters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses: Jack (balanced type), Hannah (skill type), Mustapha (speed type), and Mess (power type). The game's titular dinosaurs make appearances as neutral characters that may attack both player characters and enemies. The players have access to several attacks. Each character has two special moves including one that depletes a character's health upon contact with an enemy and when two or more players play together, they can trigger a team-attack. Players can also find and use various firearms, throwing weapons such as rocks and explosives, and melee weapons such as clubs. When the player loses along the way, one of the big baddies holds a gun point-blank to the losing player's face in a first-person view, taunting the player with sayings such as "Eat lead, baby!". Unless the game is continued within a countdown of 20 seconds, the baddie fires his gun, leading to a game over. The game is played like another Capcom puncher, Final Fight. One object is to investigate the ruins of 20th Century New York, now buried under water after a massive earthquake. Another is to find out why so many dinosaurs are being captured, mangled, and used in strange genetic engineering projects.

This is one of my older videos, so I don't know the exact settings I used, but if I recorded this now, it would be in the native resolution, which is 384x224. From there, I would upscale 1000% percent in VirtualDub to 3840x2240. Because this game is actually meant to be viewed in 4:3 aspect ratio, I would also probably change to that making the final resolution around 2986x2240.
The down, up+punch special move on all four characters does terrible, terrible damage. Of course, the classic Capcom side-scrolling brawler "hidden" move where you hold either up or down when punching the enemy to end it with an extra damaging throw works well in C&D too.

There are 3 ways you could play a game like this online, but I have only tried two of them. My personal choice is MAME++ 0.119. I have also tried MAMEHub, which is somewhat popular, but I don't like it as much. There is also Retroarch, but I never played MAME online with it. Anyways, if you used MAME++ 0.119, you would need the rom, which is called "dino.zip", and then you would need to set the rom directory and refresh the rom list. Finally, you would go on one of the Kaillera servers, and I couldn't say which would be the best one for you. If you're wondering about downloads for an emulator or game, they can easily be found through google.
