Cruise Port Walkabout - Cadiz, Spain - Sep 2021
Before we sailed on our P&O Britannia cruise on 25th September 2021, we searched RU-vid for videos showing ideas for simple walking solutions when calling at various cruise ports.
We didn’t really find anything too definitive for the ports we were calling into, so decided to take the camera and do something ourselves.
I normally just stick to short clips with a music backdrop, so please be kind and understanding with any comments as it’s my first real attempt at this type of video :)
(Any comments might also make the difference as to whether I ever do any more as well! :) )
This video shows our first port of call which was Cadiz. Actually really simple to walk off the ship and do a nice circular walking route of around five miles. Could easily be a little more or less, depending on your choices. Very easy to navigate, so not much chance of getting lost.

Loving the early morning views of Cadiz. Its good to see that the ship ports so close to town. Cadiz looks like a pretty town and very enjoyable to just have a wander.

Absolutely! Sometimes I think that people feel too pressured to always go on paid excursions, when sometimes it's great just to relax and look around yourselves.

We were on exactly the same ship stopping at cadiz in 2017. Its a beautiful place really enjoyed it

Just watched your video again - we did a completely different route to you and went into town, - we have also been again this month and this time we walked straight to the sea front, and where you arrived at the sea front (near the Santa Barbara sign on the gates) and turned right back towards the ship - we carried on along the sea front and found a beautiful public park with waterfalls and fountains. Highly recommended. It’s not on our channel yet but will be in a week or so. Definitely going to follow your route on our next visit - thank you for such a lovely vlog 😊

I had planned to go to Seville but Cadiz looks lovely and all so close to the ship, I may not go on the trip.

Thanks for this video,We going to Cadiz as part of our cruise next year, so we will probably just have a walk around too,Did you stop anywhere for a snack and a drink on your walk?

You will love Cadiz, it’s a very pleasant port stop. There are plenty of places to stop for a drink or bite to eat, although we didn’t stop anywhere ourselves.
