Yes because LCK focus on snowballing, and if they dont have a lead at 15 - 20 min they are happy to be passive. They have good enough macro to wait out Elder. The problem is, if you give the top LCK teams 3k+ gold lead at 15 - 20 min, its generally GG, regardless of soul, thats why the only way to beat LCK is shut down the early game.
Did you even hear what caedrel said? Lck teams are mega passive and if they are slightly behind they will most likely give all barons and drakes and fight only when their base is already broken into. Meanwhile in LPL even if you are ahead you wont get any advantage for free*without a fight)

In this situation I think KT should have fight I think this approach should be dependent from the soul ,the hextech soul is very hard to beat without some extremely hard carry comp
Not just the soul, but also the state of the game, the team comps etc. If you have a good waveclear comp and can safely stall and deny baron takes, you can give soul and go for elder.
There is really no answer to this. I feel like LPL has way more ego, which is not a bad thing at all. In 2018 IG shattered G2 in finals with those egoistic plays, in 2019 FPX introduced whole different method to win a game, in 2020 it was DWG with perfect macro focusing on their jungle pathing. 2021 somewhat passive, slow EDG focusing on their bot lane. We will have to see this year's MSI. Unlike any other year, this year I really can't predict which region is better even by a bit after seeing JDG clown fiesta vs BLG and T1 going 5 sull set vs KT.
There is an answer to this. There is a reason why the LCK is the best region in the world over the span of the past 10 years. Even EDG winning in 2021, it was kind of a fluke to begin with, but they also represented more of an LCK-style gameplay than LPL one.

It's just a different meta where Keria couldn't abuse marksmen for support and other teams finally finding some synergy to play close to their potential. That's what a lot of T1 fans are wrong about. T1 retained the same team as last year so they were obviously going to smash the competition early on in the split, but as teams started building synergy and reading the meta correctly, the gap closed more and more with every passing week, to the point that KT almost beat T1 in a Bo5, GENG also almost beat them in the regular season and had a great showing in their Bo5 and they are 50-50 to win the finals in my eyes as well.
Big difference I see this Spring Split: LCK - Team automatically win the game with a gold lead in 15 minutes. Unless they throw a objective teamfight. LPL - Screw the gold lead and screw the objective, we can't lose unless our nexus is destroyed. They also have a weak mindset of farming champions instead of minions and objectives while prolonging the next teamfight.

Generally LCK slow and steady style is more consistent, but lpl lck comparison heavily depends on meta. I remember s7 every game was an hour lck feels invincible, they would strangle you slowly.
There also called “handshaking” in league. LPL teams handshake aggressive plays while LCK teams handshake more passive plays. But we’ve seen at worlds - often times a slower LCK team can grind the game to a halt (or make the enemy team look like they’re inting if they overforce). You can only really play as “fast” as the enemy team allows, as long as their players aren’t awful.
Exactly, and some people just fail to realize this. Whenever Worlds come around, I can always see the LPL fans thinking that their teams are op and fast paced and they will outmechanic and outtempo the LCK and I'm sitting there thinking that the LCK has the option to slow down the pace of the game if needs be, so the LPL style is rendered useless.

@@tjeppe5685 I don't wanna put down the LPL this year, because they finally seem to have the edge over the LCK after 3 or so years, but you have to realize that LCK only had 3 teams instead of 4 in knockouts because DK vs KT happened. Also, GENG faced the #2 seed of the LPL and for knocked out in a very close game 5. WBG basically got a free pass to semis, by beating NRG (twice, once in knockouts), FNC and MAD. Not really a worthy road. KT had to basically face the top teams in the tournament, made quarters only to lose to the clear favorite. I don't think there is any world under the old format that we wouldn't get 4 LCK teams at quarters and WBG would also advance. This is more luck of the draw than LPL clearly being better than the LCK. The only real comparison between the two regions so far is BLG beating GENG. Everything else is luck of the draw that generally favored LPL and shit on LCK, mainly benefiting WBG and shitting on KT and DK.

For sure teams have lost even with Elder, or Baron, or 10k gold leads, or Hextech Soul, but I'm pretty sure the percentage is very low, not necessarily because the buffs are op, but because the team that gets 4 dragons usually means is better than the opponent team overall and is also stronger because they most likely snowballed to get to that stage in the first place.
LCK playstyle is the best. Safe and steady. They train on ways to effectively gains early leads and through good communication, they are steadily ahead and pulling further ahead just a lil bit with every passing minute, eventually leading to a victory. And that is the playstyle that I enjoy. I enjoy it when a team plays correct LoL and wins, because players use their brain.
there's no correct way of playing league, except for that inting strat. But LCK playstyle seems to have the most accomplishment so maybe that's the most replicable playstyle for winning
I also think the LCK's style of play is the most correct, but it's the hardest to execute. I believe the only region that can execute it perfectly is LCK itself. It might have something to do with the Korean culture of being extremely disciplined in their own society, and this ends up transferring to the game more easily than in other regions.
I absolutely agree with you. Their region has showed true professionalism in the industry, and it honestly translates into their gameplay. Discipline, control, and execution. I have never been a fan of fiesta games , hence I do not like any other region. It feels too much that other orgs and regions are trying to glorify solo que mentality in the highest level of organized play.

LPL only fights mindlessly like chickens without heads running around looking for kills. LPL has no sense of macro gameplay and 0 map control movements whereas LCK is much more superior in terms of teamfight coordination, map control and overall higher IQ macro decision making.
you always.... always fight soul. Unless youre down top or bot inhib your fighting the obj and contesting mid idgaf what team you are. Why not give yourself an extra chance to stall 5 or 10 min per obj for a team to make a mistake? Equally and opposite likely one or more players make a mistake around wave pressure/tps/obj timers. Its league man. And if you cant play turtle with two inhibs down you probably dont deserve to play the part of the game you can actually win
if you fight soul and lose you probably lose the game because your going to lose baron after if you coinclip elder and steal it you have a much higher chance of winning a doomed game but most teams will fight for soul unless they literally can't
Lol with elder you can have bugger chance of winning and will give you 5min to get a comeback whereas if you lose the soul fight you're done. That's basically what he said.. lol... lck teams would rather give soul and hang on for the elder and shoot a prayer with the scaling, than fight for soul and get aced and lose automatically (which lpl teams does)
Depending on the comp you could give soul, if you have good waveclear and baron is down you can stall it out, if you have a pick or poke comp you could kill one off or force them back and if you have some kind of burst all in comp you can delete them with a good engage. The chances of that working are just as low but if you are far behind it is probably a better option to surprise them then to fight at the objective where the enemy expects them and set up vision.

Its easy LCK is boring while LPL is fun i remember first time watching LCK game the game ended without even having a teamfight the game ended in 3-0 in kills lol
That means you didnt watch lck since 2017 when they were the undisputed best ones and played super safe. The average time on lck is 1 min away from lpl and 21 avg kills against 25 on lpl so nothing close to 3-0...

Stop bringing politics into this. How well or how smart a person is should not be dependent on his nationality. Plus, LPL can't force ppl to join them. The players decide for themselves where they want to go
