@@jmj7543 theres also how you deliver the message. Sometimes LS just asumes you already know why x and y is bad/good, so he just starts talking about how because of that z is better while some people dont even know why x is good
This video gave me flashbacks of blonde caedrel from 2020 and 2021 back when i started watching him for his draft analysis. Feels nice to watch this type of content which feels like a Nostalgia of sorts for me personally because this type of content is there now also but compared to before its on the lesser side. This is what got me hooked to caedrel and his videos, hopefully we get lot more of these during worlds.
This is the most insightful video I've ever seen about how meta and matchups work. Covering everything from picks/counterpicks, jungle pathing, lane prio, invades, lane swaps and more. GIVE ME MORE OF THIS CONTENT!!!
this video encapsulates the beauty of league. its not the individual matchups or a champion or a role imo, its the fact that everyone is essentially playing 5d chess and the team that wins is the team that can function the best as a squad
@@alinsofan501 Last finals he had at the peak over 180.000 viewers, average viewership during the six hours was over 110.000. Man is making absolute bank during the playoffs. Riot can't match that payment
Crazy to think how more than a decade ago, players didn't have a coach on stage and had paper notes for all this stuff. I remember watching the lcs and meteos was considered quirky for having a big notebook for pick / bans.
I understand why you said "we say we want indepth analysis content but you really dont" since the majority dont spend time daily on the micro and macro elements of proplay or keep up with the updates and news and meta, but for people that do, these types of content always feed us on a silver platter. Thanks for content Sally 💯💯💯💯💯
I lilke how Caedrel describes what an idea of the draft entails for the team that is drafting. As what LS is also trying to say, there are themes that a team comp is trying to do, and if one pick misses the identity of the team comp, now counters open up as weaknesses for that team comp
@@BigBigBigJeff Also, can counter Syndra with his Ekko (very unlikely that he will see playtime but if Syndra actually ends up dominant, there is an angle like Caedral brough it up). His LeBlanc is also amazing. If the meta really ends up like Caedral is projecting, then Showmaker and Knight are by far the biggest winners. Although Faker also benefits from it.
Love this kind of content more than anything! Started watching your stream because I loved watching you pick apart drafts. Thanks for this! Great video
It's crazy, I play this game for over 12 years and still, sometimes I can't follow what people like caedrel talk about. I still don't know what the perks of playing blue side or red side are etc. It's so fascinating to see how deep this game really goes.
I don't care about a Syndra and LeBlanc meta with AP mage oneshots. I'm just so sick of seeing ADCs in Mid in pro, anything fresh is good. And Orianna is one of the most fun champs to watch in Pro, no competition.
@@douglarkins3 fr ADCs mids were at least something new, and most mid pros enjoyed it for that reason. However I hope we get a melee mid meta. Let me see Yone Akali Sylas Yasuo. I'll hate it in solo q but fuck it
Tristana and Ezreal mid are fun to watch, change my mind. Corki was more fun when he dealt magic damage, but him and Smolder are both boring (now) I agree.
As a Syndra main, i have waited long time to see her meta again. And with the likes of Chovy, Showmaker, Faker, Knight, Xiaohu, Caps, Humanoid at worlds... man i'm about to have a good meal
It makes me kind of happy that when I heard him talk about the midlaners. I thought it would be showmakers meta and when he said he thought so too i felt so validated that the years of me playing league we got tot he same conclusion. This game is awesome except for solo q loll
not just Yone in 2023, he had the Gwen too. Remember Zeus was countering Aatrox since 2022 with Yone. But he had no answer for it if Yone was banned. Then 2023 Zeus was insanely good with Aatrox and had like 2 counter picks for it
I love such deep LoL content videos instead of those arguments with chat and autistic noises that have become most of the live streams :( When he is locked-in for real - its awesome
the difference with this and drafting your champ in solo queue is pros have a whole coaching staff to help them with this information, and they only need to know how to play the match up
Also strategies too. Good luck telling your 4/0 botlanes to swap top and secure grubs. SoloQ is just a big cluster fuck while pro is much more controlled
more like a Faker patch. when syndra came out Faker is the best syndra in the world and also a Leblanc legend- Faker's first penta is with leblanc. Dom already confirmed and agreed with this
If Syndra is countered by Ekko and Fizz for the reasons he stated then that means Akali is just as bad for her. Irelia is another off meta mid pick that can do very well into Syndra as well.
Im so dissapointed caedral didn’t Check knight winrate on syndra. That’s actually disguisting he didn’t even think a second of that s tier pool for knight. Sylas syndra ahri Leblanc. If these are top tier champs you can’t ban knight out. All these champs are perman banned in the lpl if it’s meta.
I’d been wondering if there would be any mid lane melee assassin champs if we’re getting a traditional mage meta. Zed, Fizz, Ekko, maybe even a real throw back to Kha’zix. Especially with the fleet footwork buff for melee.
I dont like when the meta shifts pre worlds because are we even getting the best teams and players in that meta. Rookie for example is crazy good on the mages that will supposedly be meta, but was forced to play adc's all season
ahh yes the 1000th orianna syndra mid meta. So exciting. Farming poke mages who just CS all game and decide game in late game 5v5. Fun to watch fun to play.
faker hasnt played syndra for so long, but i still remember skt vs kt when nagne and score was on kt and nagne was playing leblanc that game and faker on syndra and he made a mega play from river to mid, this was literally years ago, doa and monte casting that game. hopefully its like riding a bike for faker and he can pick up syndra again if the worlds meta needs him to
My question watching this is: As a coach do you go through pairing matrixes of synergies when and match ups with your player that you can fill as well using proplayer matches. And then once you essentially have a knowledge graph of champion synergies and match ups have a programme run the graph and suggest optimal picks and bans ?
Bro i need 10h lecture about this topic, this is not enough information , i want to know everything to understand pro drafts and have fun during worlds xddd
That's what they have been saying past 3 season's. 😅.. Probably next worlds ahri will be busted and they will say knights ahri is the best so he winning worlds
sitting here as a long time caedral fan just now wondering for the first time. "isnt he british? why does he have an EU accent for english? thats when i dug through his league wiki to find out he lived in spain for many years of his youth and speaks fluent spanish. and it all makes sense how he has such an odd accent
@@elliotyun6850 idk like a nordic accent i guess. the point was he was born in fucking england and doesnt have an english accent lmao he has like a hint of sweed or norwegian ish accent but he was born in england so i was confused
Even though you said Showmaker patch; this is pretty much faker's confort zone, isn't it? Ori, Taliya, Syndra, Azir (?) Dunno how Azir is doing, but I know it's playable vs immobile mages (premiere blind picks of the patch);
@@kubotite9168 I also think too but meta-wise, he's definitely bad. Laning phase is horribly hard and the new buffed one-shotters carry-mages are way better than him. Imo, Azir is likely not going to be picked at Worlds at all and it'll revolve around Syndra, Yasuo, Oriana and Leblanc.
