Gumayusi sold really hard versus Peyz in the finals, but he was consistently good for T1 throughout the regular season, and he has a record of leveling up at worlds (2021 and 2022). If I had a gun held to my head and was asked how T1 can beat JDG, I would say Gumayusi has to carry the entire series.

Zika is actually fun to watch when his team actually let him to play his carries. It's just that Scout is by far their most consistent player and the meta is bot focused (with playoffs even showing relatively high Kai sa priority which is no brainer when you have Gala) so they put him on dog toplaners which is fine for the team but doesn't let him to show his real strengths (that are very similar to Bin's and Ale's). There is a reason those two were one of the only fews that are capable to somehow match Bin in carry matchups.
I mean, even so, Zika had a really good year. You could see last year that was he ok, but IG were shit, so it was hard for anyone to do anything on that roster. But now that Zika is on a decent team, you can see how good he can be.
In the past i would agree as historicaly he's been terrible internationally, but msi has given me hope that that might no longer be the base for BB, though time will tell

Idk i feel like his take on SM Canyon is so bizzare, Canyon was either hard carrying or running it down mid ff15 and SM was just relatively average (at least compared to his previous forms). Saying Canyon was really good and SM was garbage feels completely disingenuous to what actually happened in summer - Canyon would farm POGs against the bottom 5 teams and get giga-gapped against the top 4, while SM would rarely hard-lose lane but was invisible when against T1/GenG/kT. Either way, both of them had rough splits in different ways, and I don't really think one played substantially better than the other to justify Caedral's takes. Unless, of course, he didn't actually watch their games and used the PoG standings as his primary metric (but then Zeka would , theoretically, be far better than SM, and we all know how regionals played out).
