I know you're joking but LCS is dying so whats the point in staying in a region thats slowly dying? While if they go to the other 3 major regions they can bring in vets and rookies that have potential.
even if they move to lol for instance they will still be a bottom tier team lol team already have their base and fanbase built up over the years how could tsm compete unless they spend 10 million or more and build an all star lpl team and coaches
@@joshuamccall5907 TSM's CEO is an abusive psycho, the company just lost its biggest cash cow sponsor and the fan base has been toxic for the past 10 years. What are C9 jealous of exactly?
It's done honestly. NA will probably make their own new eSports game like they did with all the other sports and claim they are the best because no one else plays it.
TSM is getting ahead of the curve. Larger fan bases in LCK and LPL. LCS has been on a decline and will eventually die out. Other teams will do the same or eventually dissolve completely.
If LCS dies so will the Esports fanbase in NA and this will also have a terrible Impact on the Playerbase in NA. This is all in all very Bad for League of Legends in General.
@@TheXxomasteroxxIt is indeed bad but it would have happened eventually. Time and time again NA disappoints and it seems like there are no improvements. TSM 2016 roster is the last impressive team I can remember and they went out in groups at worlds
@@TheXxomasteroxx I wouldn't say so. Yes it could have a domino effect, but League never really gained the massive traction in the US that it gained in countries like Poland, Spain, the Scandinavians, SK or China. Counter Strike, COD, Rocket League and the FGC dwarf League in terms of professional playerbase in the US. Even Valorant already has a healthier playerbase than League.
@@ICinnamonI Dont need to. Anyone who understands the LPL knows that the LCS salaries that the LCS teams INCLUDING TSM cannot afford anymore are dolled out to LPL players like its nothing. The owner of IG is the son of a billionaire. The LPL is a play thing. TSM cannot compete. They dont have the chinese branding. They've been chinas bitch on the world stage for the last 12 years.
@@harrisonjia7791 But he said that a few years ago when clg was fighting to just be a middle of the table team. Meaning he'd sell his house, his car and everything to not end up a bottom tier team with no money, and now they are a bottom tier team with no money in their rosters. It's not 100% the same, but it's close enough to be pretty funny.
@@spicesmuggler2452 Same as NIP who moved to LPL 1 year ago too... Where are they? At the bottom... TSM will end in the same place, cause they don't have money to buy out the best players... NA sponsors will not give them money to compete in China... Maybe they got some hidden Chinese sponsor that is going to finance them, but I doubt it...
@@aaronkerrigan241 yea if only he just make an apology video to the team and everyone he mess with, everyone will support them again & the team will be great again
Is LCS only choice to merge with CBLOL and LAS/LAN or something, because with CLG and TSM gone, academy teams being removed and bjergsen leaving it feels like we are heading towards dark times, there are no big personalities and most teams don't have any engagement with fans. The only bastion still standing is doublelift and if he retires, I don't know who can fill his and bjergsen's shoes, it really seems like NA it's pretty much the retirement region for LCK players right now
No that would be very bad for the global scene. Yes, we always shit on NA being supposedly a minor region, but NA is most definitely a tier above it. LCS joining CBLOL or the Latin servers would completely destroy the competition there. It would just be non-stop US victories, to the point where Brazil and Mexico would lose all interest in trying. It's the same reason why China had to leave the SEA scene and make their own league. Even the worst Chinese team was hard stomping on the Malaysian and Filipino teams.
I wouldn't say Bjergsen was a "Big Personality". He didn't show much personality to be honest. Sneaky is a bigger personality and he left in what 2020? Doublelift has a bigger personality. And so on. Fudge and Zven have better interviews and better personality. Bjerg is boring.
As far as filling their shoes. They were lucky to be from the beginning they would be average during that time with the talent today. Prince and Berzerker are far better talented than Double. Emenes, Gori, and jojo far better mechanically than bjerg ever was. The game wasn't as define as it is now.
I think riot allowing them to do this and as regi claims even supporting it is a bad move on their part. It’s a slippery ass slope that’ll only lead to LoL becoming more of a regional game than it already isz
Riot has no choice. They either support them and let them go to another region or TSM will get out of league completely. A good portion of TSM’s fans will follow them wherever they go so that’s better than them leaving altogether.
Riot allowing what ? If Regi has the money for a spot riot cant stop him ,NIP is a European org and they are in LPL why none complained about it when that happened .But i still hate Regi for his behavior as an owner in TSM .
So were all just going to ignore its incredibly poor PR choices made to announce your decision to leave without actually having a buyer? It means youve locked your choice toward your fans and are now in a downright poor and desperate negotiation position. Truth be told IMM & DIG are also for sale on the downlow but simply havent found a suitable deal as these are still some 25+ mil deals were talking about.
NA is dead, the foundations to create homegrown talent is dead. The NA mindset is weak and dirt defining. Times are changing, at this point Riot should just embrace making singleplayer games with the league IP. Its way more popular and important than their main IP that started them on this journey. If TSM moves to LPL and makes top 4 that is the nail in the coffin. If they don't, meme the hell outta TSM.
@@TheRealAstro_ you think a buch od china firms and companies wont jump at an new american org joining LPL. Also you could build a rookie team and have cracked players its diffrent in china. And ofc you could pay them less then in America
@@saen2755 yeah man u trust TSM management to pick out a competing roster in any region? they've had probably the worst roster decisions of any team in the last 2-3 years LOL
Actually not. I remember only EDG makes profit. The others lose a lot. Imaging Rng won two consecutive msi still have huge financial problems. Top lpl teams today including JDG, BLG, LNG, and WBG are supported by big companies in China. They are willing to invest a lot and accept the losses cause they can advertise their company.
It’s cause Reginald fked up TSM in NA, they lost most of there real fan base in NA with that the income. Drama from before then with Doublelift and on top not winning matches. This guy got too much ego
TSM: damn we can't even win the LCS the weakest of the tier 1 leagues, so how about we go join one of the top two leagues instead! 😂 lolol Can't wait to see TSM finish dead last! Hate Andy and want he stands for
I would assume they are going to pick up a brand new roster but idk. I also want to see Regi get his come uppance and lose everything but I want it to be terrible decision making and arrogance that does him in, not bad luck.
Another meme team out. Sad cuz i prefer na and eu games over lpl n lck. Loads of action out there which is bread n butter for us viewer's. Tried watching lpl lck games but nearly fell 😴. Example is thier reg game 35 mins 5 kills across the board and one fight ends the game. They are super good at thier craft but its very.. veeeeery boring to watch em
It depends on how much funding they can get. In the LPL, there are no small pay checks. In the LCK maybe. But do TSM have the expertise to operate in a region they dont understand?
Create the League equivalent of the NFL in Korea and allow foreign players to enroll in their programs. Just like how it's done in baseball. Get rid of the other leagues and focus on local grassroots tournaments outside of the big korean league.
TSM just started the downfall of LCS. But if they're going to LPL or LCK with same mentality, game ethics, game style, they won't get anywhere. The game style in Asia is completely different, if they listened to any of the interviews, they know that LPL and LCK practice much more than LCS and LEC... That's why they are ahead of meta, while the west finds out about the meta on the worlds. :-) That's the difference between west and asia. They are next level when it comes to gaming, despite we think west gamers are good. They are, but Asians are just better... I'm a G2 fan, but I wish TSM does well in where ever they go, maybe finally bring the worlds cup to their house, it's true that if the rivals are stronger, you'll improve much faster. Let's see what this brings us.
They're going to sign all Chinese/Korean players and coaches. Not sure why you think just because the org originated in NA that the players would magically adopt an NA mindset.
@@Djfjfjrhhrjrhrhfj well if they won't swap out the players, that's exactly what would happen. But with signing chinese/korean players, they wouldn't be an American team anymore, so even if they win the trophy, it won't count for NA fans, only Regi will win it.
@@nikdijak1515 You said that they would adopt an NA mindset, I said that was incorrect. Not sure what you’re talking about with winning counting for NA fans… a bit off topic.
@@Djfjfjrhhrjrhrhfj I said "IF they go with same style and mentality", not that they CERTAINLY will, sorry if you understood it wrong or if I interpreted it wrongly, English is not my main language. But yeh, if they adopt to the LPL or LCK, they certainly have all the chances, just like any other team in that league. It'll be interesting to see though, I'll certainly watch some games of TSM in asia.
actually quite the opposite. LPL players often disobey the coaches and some players hold more power than coaches. Its a misconception that LPL is like LCK in terms of submissiveness.
lol all the LCS people hella mad tsm bailed on the trash lcs. but shit died the minute league rolled over and just did wte the big orgs wanted, they let teams franchise a permanent spot, had no salary cap to stop one org from buying everyone, and large orgs gate-kept the professional league scene. tbh the lck might face this issue of limited talent too since they just starting franchises too, and without challenger teams' path to becoming pro teams the lck might have never found Griffon, or DWK since they were challenger teams that earned their spots, so players like cannyon, showmaker, nugeri, and chovy, viper tarzan might have never been found without that path.
Its a financial move. LCS market is losing money too hard and the viewership isn't there. This isn't a passionate move to become the best, its a smart financial move to China where there is a bigger esports scene. China and all of Asia have a culture that is filled with people that love gaming, hardcore into anime and gacha games, and more passionate about things that are more demonized in the west. West puts too much focus on physical sports and have a poor view on games. You go to Times Square or London and you see advertisements for alcohol, sports, and live action movies. You go to Shanghai, Tokyo, or Seoul, you will see Kpop, Anime, Genshin Impact, Arknight, Cdrama, Kpop songs, etc. Over here, gamers are viewed as rednecks and obese. Over there, they are viewed as degenerates that have fun together and live life.
With the huge popularity of TSM in japan, i bet they will play in LJL. Afterall, the esports scene is not making enough money and TSM was always about the most money.
I've been saying this for 10 years now, why teams with money and organisations name don't move to another region? It's actually a bad idea to move to LPL or LCK because competition is too strong and not enough Worlds seeds for everyone. But teams from LCS and minor regions could join LEC instead. LEC has tons of talent, but not enough good teams with money. If teams like C9 and TL could join LEC, it would be super beneficial for both parties 🤔🤔🤔
@@MillionaireMikey Yea seriously that guys overdosing on COPIUM, there is so much more young talent in the LPL compared to LEC it's not even funny. BLG is an incredibly young team (oldest player is 24 ffs) and mostly pretty raw. And the LPL has tons of that type of talent, its not like BLG dominated in the LPL by any stretch. Meanwhile the goat LEC player Caps looked like a joke and the #1 seed from LEC got speedrun by a team that didnt even make the grand final.
Unless tney actually field a competitive roster he's just talking out of his ass...also the level of monotonity and number of cuts they had to make for him to even finish his speech just shows how disingenuous it sounds...just admit you're jumping ship while you still have some brand value
I feel bad for the players who got bullied by Reggie, imagine they talk about this for years that they got bullied by an angry asian with down syndrome😭💀😭💀
