I have an invictus V for about 6 years. There *is* some wear; I shoot perhaps 1000/month (a bit less these days but a bit more occasionally). My lower barrel pin is worn and I'm starting to have false shots ( shoot FITASC a lot so a lot of first barrel kills). Leaves an imprint on the cartridge but no shot. Most irritating is that there is some corrosion at the bottom of the action, CG has some sort of 'coating' on top of the metal, this has worn off and it shows. Needless to say I'm always careful with my guns, they are cleaned, they are not left wet etc. Overall I have to say it has been a very good shotgun, and I hope I can have it refurbed because I haven't found anything (in that price range!) that compares. I just wanted to post this as few people would have either shot as much carts as I did, OR kept it that long!
Invictus 5 is a pretty one!! Sounds like it’s time to send it in for a Pit Stop!! Part of your warranty is the ability to send your firearm in every once in a while for a tune up. You’ll wish you had done it sooner when you get it back!!
