Nice video! I am planning a trip to Porto from Sweden on my R1200GS in the summer! I would love to bring my 1963 Legnano T115 SS 50cc cafe racer, but then I need 3 months, 5 spare pistons and 20 litres of 2 stroke oil...
It is a pleasure to have a Portuguese descendent here. I can guarantee that Oporto is more beautiful than ever. It was considered several times the best european destination. And yes, there are a lot of custom/retro motorcycles here. Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
Excellent video Racer, looks like a great day was had by all. Frankenstein sounds ooooo so sweet when you open up the tap, looks like there was lots of very cool bikes to check out and we get tp put a face to the name. I do like that royal enfield 535 GT, you are so right about coming from the factory just like that. Ride safe mate, take care. Cheers
Hi. Unfortunately, Leonel(mecanic) is still very busy lately, and the XS project is still on the same spot. Let's hope that during the following moths, the XS project could go on as I imagined.:) Thank you my friend for your support.
What a beautiful, joyful and festive event to support such a serious matter. Good luck to all and forward. Always ahead. I remember some motorcycles and I love the people concentrated there. Thank you Vito for everything. And I see your face, with the helmet, hehehe. As always, fantastic and emotional.....
Lool. It is not the first time I appear on one of my videos. But it is the first time that I am so close to the camera. :) As usual, thank you my friend for your very kind comment. :) Cheers.
You Sir are a gentleman to apologise - but we new that. This production was excellent showing such variety and style and what fun everyone had. This is the world we share as cafe racers, greetings to all the brothers and sisters around the world.
No próximo DGR, espero sinceramente poder conhecer-te pessoalmente. :)Um grande abraço. Tudo de bom. :)
For the first time in my home town of León Guanajuato, the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride was held, although it only managed to gather 37 participants, it is a modest start, but it can be very promising. Unfortunately, I later found out about the event and I still don't consider my bike at the level for such an event. But next year with the rear suspension, the fairing and the tank finished, if it's done again I'll be there for sure.
You know, sometimes, I don't realise how lucky I am for having so many custom and classic motorcycles near home. It's comments like yours that make me appreciate what I have. I saw a small photo of your project on facebook. It looks very promising. I might be wrong, but it seems it would look even better if the rear swing arm could be stretched to increase the wheel base. Thank you Alejandro for sharing your perspective. :) Saludos.
I’m very happy that you were able to ride Frankenstein in this years DGR! It sounded really good and looked great! Very interesting group of riders and the Police were very helpful. Plus, the weather cooperated. And, as always, thank you for Racer TV, the Café racers only choice! Ride safe my friend and have fun on your next ride! Cheers…
Fantastic biker meetup of Classic motorcycles ridden by autentic elegant gentlemen, few personalized moto but all of high quality such as the magnificent frankenstein honda, a symphony with wheels , and there are not a few motorctcles, in my town Jerez in Spain we olso gót together about 280 it was a meeteing of friends where I met lovers of custom motorcycles . Barely a dozen, and as always I hope to look forward your next vídeo. 👏👏👏🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻👍✌🏻
Was the Captain of the police force driving that BMW 850i ?? Geez. Your tax money is paying for some really nice perks for law enforcement. I really like to know how the couple with the Pug dog is able to get him/her to wear goggles. My dog refuses any item (hat, sun glasses) at all even come close to his head. Their next step ought to be placing a Go-Pro on it´s collar. Portal A Potties? Where the hack are the food vendors?? In the whole city there wasn't one mobile food vendor, Coffee, Sandwiches, Pizza, or Ice Cream?? That had the foresight of staging their mobile trucks at either destination stops? Glad to see 256 bikes made the DGR in Portugal. Like seeing the old bikes at these rallies and happy to see the little 50cc bikes zipping around. Excellent footage as always. Thankfully your battery lasted the whole ride....😂 LOL.
Looool. Nice and funny perspective you got here. I was so close to leave a sentence about our taxes money being very well spent on that BMW I8. But then i thought it could be a bit ofessive to the police officers. To be honest, my Canon G7X battery was dead right at the end of the DGR. But i always have my Smartphone as a backup camera. Thank you my friend for sharing your very interesting perspective. :) Cheers.
Lool. It is not the first time I appear on one of my videos. But it is the first time that I am so close to the camera. :) Thank you my friend for your kind comment. :) Cheers.

Espero vir a conhece-lo pessoalmente no DGR do próximo Ano. Obrigado pela ajuda. Um abraço.
I was there with my absolutely stock Battle Green Royal Enfield Classic 500. The number of bikes was enough to watch to some interesting bikes, and the general mood was good and peaceful. The Police work in fact was very good. A show appart was to see them like arrows between each following crossing to protect us. I think this year people were more" sociable" and a little bit civilized. Was it the pandemic?
thanks, nice content on the DG ride. question, do you think your 650 was enough tork/power to ride with the best of them? ive been considering 750 and up. any response is apreciated
Hi, Thank you. Yes, I think the CX 650 has more power and tork than you ever going to need. It may have "only" 65 hp, but it is enough to reach 100Km h in about 5 seconds, and almost 200 Km/h of top speed. After modify the carburetors with bigger jets, the engine became very nervous, with a lot of torque at any rpm's. I also have a BMW K1 with 1000cc and 100 Hp, but it doesn't feel as fast as the CX 650. I hope this helps. :) Cheers.
I am glad you liked. My gloves are from Chester Jefferies cycling mitt leather/crochet. Unfortunately, they are not available anymore. www.chesterjefferies.co.uk/mens-special-offers/ Cheers.
Sorry, but I really don't remember from what website I bought them. But try to search on google for "british car gloves", and you will find simlar gloves. Cheers.

Pois.
Lol. Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real British voice in one of my videos, and, surprisingly, almost everyone hated it. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds realy very good for to non-English natives. :) Cheers.
I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable DGR 2022. This was my first year riding as I finally had my cafe racer ready to go. 120 riders but the majority were not classic, custom or retro machines. Kind regards from Vancouver Island BC Canada. 🇨🇦
Yes, I know how difficult is to join that kind of retro/custom motorcycles in some Countries. Thank you my dear friend for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.
What a amazing day you had racer tv! i thoroughly enjoyed your DGR's ride and thanks for showing us you and yours mates. I am big fan of your channel. I am from Pakistan, living in beautiful island of Australia called Tasmania.
