This is the video about the Top 10 best Motorcycles of 2021.
The election took place between 26/12/2021 and 08/01/2022
There were 20 candidates on the election, which are the best Cafe Racers presented by Racer TV during 2021.
My special thanks to Pedro Torres, for his great help with my English.

I love cafe racers for a few reasons: 1) I love the artistry and the ability to take a relatively inexpensive bike and make it uniquely functional and beautiful . 2) I love that young people can own a bike that doesn’t cost 17k and doesn’t need to have 170 hp to be considered cool. 3) Mostly though, I love that they have inspired a new generation to ride and to learn to tool on a bike. The most beautiful bike is one that gets ridden.

#9 Is just "Spectacular" & what a fabulous bike to start with #5 Is a hell of a bike for an amateur builder. #8 & who doesn't love a 2stroke, & again an amateur builder, The winners for me are the amateurs because let's face it a great many "Professional Builders" struggle to get it right. as for #4 this kid started this when he was 15 & it is a beautifully balanced bike, but for me, #2 has it all. Thank you.

Hello my dear Friend. I also expected a better votation for the Yamaha RD350. Perhaps it was the 2-stroke engine that turned voters away from this bike. Some people only like 4 stroke engines. Another great video and it just goes to show that we all have different tastes. Interesting thought, prompted by another comment is the age group of the voters 🤔 I suspect that you may be getting more votes from the younger members of your channel as café racers are certainly very cool bikes and the younger people need to relate to cool things. I also suspect that most of your votes came from Europe and USA even though the Café Racer culture was born in England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Ha haa, such is the way of the world and change 🤔 Kind regards Paul from 48 Spokes 🇬🇧

Hi Paul. All those are very Interesting questions. It is hard to know that kind of details, about those who left the like on each one of the candidates. But I can give you the age of those who watched the election's main video: 28,6% is 45-54 years old 24,7% is 35-44 years old 19,0% is 55-64 years old 17,6% is 25-34 years old 5,8% is 18-24 years old 4,2% is more than 65 years old I think we can eliminate the younger people tastes from the equation. Greetings friend. If I can humbly give my opinion, in my opinion, a CAFE RACER should be as similar to the true ones from the 60s and 79s, regardless of the year of the motorcycle to be transformed. I think that an inverted suspension is not the best for A cafe racer, on an aesthetic level. My humble opinion, with that suspension, is a mix between street fighter and cafe racer. It's my personal opinion, I hope you don't feel bad. Thanks for your channel, it's the best.

Dear Friend, I understand your point. Your opinion is also a good and very valid option for a cafe racer project. Unfortunately, most of the british bikes from the 60's and 70's are now rare, valuable, and very hard to work with. That is why most people choose japanese bikes from the 80's, and try to modernize them on some approaches. In my opinion, I think this rebirth of the "cafe racer" scene, must have a different approach from the 60's . :) But thank you for sharing your perspective. :) Cheers.

Great video. I will go with the simplicity of your number 6. The single cylinder. Thanks I somewhat like the copper fitted bike, but I extremely dislike the ugly BMW. Boxer engine ! Thanks again. The Honda with the Guzzi style twin engine is nice !

1º- My big congratulations to the winner. Mr Zahariev and Tossa R team 2º- I confess that I had to watch the video more than six times to choose one. What's more, I don't want to remember that I voted. In the end, I had to reach for my heart. 3º- In my modest opinion, there is not the best of the best. All of them, absolutely all of them, have moved me every week. 4º- All the builders have created soul, spirit and life in their bikes. Vito, it's been a fantastic year. Congratulations. Stock carburetors are not the best choice here, they not respond properly because they need way too big jets to run in this setup. BTW RD is a winner here for me :-)

Thank you my friend for sharing your perspective. I presume you are referring to the Cx carburetors. If yes, you are right. Curiously, they are identical to the CX 650 model, is after changing to a bigger jets, the engine runs realy great. :) Cheers.

Performance should be considered. That CX that won had terrible throttle response and looks terrible to ride.

Mmm. Such that the CX took top honours indicates to me that the voting base is too young and has no clue what a Cafe Racer is. This is another Michael Masi moment where the result is wrong. We need an investigation because that bike should not have been listed except with honourable mention. Number 6 is the real winner and I will not withdraw my appeal until it’s declared as such officially. 😙😋

I have to agree about the #1 bike, they sound great but I simply can't get past the dustbin rear wheel. Call me old fashioned but wire wheels are an essential part of a café racer. One of the main reasons I bought a Norton Dominator. They must be polished too, none of your black "modern" wheels which I guess attracts the votes of the younger ones. #2 would have been my choice BTW

@@itsalldoable It’s a mix and match parts experiment which will please some but it’s not from the school of cafe racers really. Looks very obnoxious to me. More Ducati Monster than Manx..

@@itsalldoable Every time I see black wheels in a cafe I just cringe immediately. Bling was also a thing back in the 60’s.. Shiny hubs and rims.
