I worked for Starbucks for 17 years and I always try different brands to check out the competition. They have some really good ones in Hawaii that I enjoy when I used to work on the islands. Thanks for sharing something I love.
Coming back to Oahu this summer and will check these places out. Love Ali'i Coffee and the Taro Ube latte. (Felix "When it's cold out..." made me laugh. I see it's still getting down into the 60's there, I'm hoping it gets up to the 60's here.)
Hi to to cutest couple on RU-vid. I also love my coffee...but have a intolerance to caffeine.I love a nutty flavor with rich thick creamer. Thanks for the tour today...so delicious ❤🤙
Aloha, Amanda & Felix: Today is Sunday and I want to wish everyone a HAPPY EASTER! I loved this cafe series. Perfect mellow episode for this week. Thank you for pointing out all of these wonderful coffee places. Some new coffees now that I want to try now and not to mention the food. Croissant seemed bomb, that sandwich and the burrito looked so ono too. Everything seemed pleasant to the palate. Have an awesome day, again Mahalo Plenty!
Thanks for doing a cafe tour, can't wait to check these out! My partner's from Australia, and she always looking for the kind of (extremely good) coffee they have back home. I'm not into coffee, but those breakfast sandwiches/burritos are right up my alley! YUM 😋😆 Happy Easter to you both! 🐣
Tradition coffee roasters was our go to when we lived there. The employees knew us because we were there so often. 😂 they were all so nice and the coffee is amazing!
Local Joe would be the one when I am in downtown. The breakfast sandwich at Alii coffee caught my attention for lunch. Just enough coffee for the whole day. Thanks for the video. Happy Easter Lucy.
I think I went to the Kauai Coffee Co cafe about three times during my trip last year. I just finished the coffee from there and the usual one doesn't seem as special. The ground coffee I got from Lappert's smelled amazing but it became a souvenir for my cousin.
2:50 Wow, Amanda's Common Ground coffee comment was a surprise! Just by appearance alone, I thought that was going to be a super strong coffee! Can you ask for less "milk?"
Los Angeles is a hotbed for high quality independent coffee houses so when I was coming to Honolulu I was very underwhelmed. I had tried 6 in the Waikiki and Kapahulu areas. That is until I tried the Honolulu Coffee Company. Very fine quality coffee drinks. They could give the LA shops a run for their money. I will definitely try some of the places you mentioned here. Thanks!😁
@@AmandaFelixEatsI’m sorry. My point in bringing up Honolulu Coffee Company is that you and Felix should try it if you have not. They are definitely very high quality coffee.😁
Happy Easter. I was at the airport on Sunday and Tuesday at the baggage claim and I always talk to the people and they always ask me where is there a good place to eat. I have been telling them to watch Amanda & Felix Eats on youtube ( is that ok with you guys.) If you like i can put a small sign on my moped because i'm all over painting over graffiti and people are always talking to me.
That's totally ok! Mahalo for sharing our channel with people! We really appreciate all your support! We're so happy to have you as part of the Foodie ohana! Mahalo again and happy Easter! 🙏🤙
Not sure why it caught my eye, but I did get a chuckle out of it. The cup handle on the Cortado was so small that at first, Felix had to drink it with his pinky up. It must have been awkward for him cuz he changed his hold and then his fingers looked like they got all crunched up. Guess it had to be served in that smaller cup.
Is the AC Hotel recent addition? Coz I know for the Longest time, the Aston Executive Center, right down on Hotel/Bishop...was the only hotel in downtown HNL.
Aloha, Amanda and Felix! I do love your videos and coverage of all the local offerings. There is one discrepancy I'd like to bring up and please, I say this with love. Please don't say Hanalulu, it is pronounced Hoo-noo-lulu. Thank you so much for receiving this criticism with the respect I'm trying to inform you with.
Hey Amanda and Felix.... where can I find the best Vietnamese coffe? I use to get it from a small Vietnamese place in Windward Mall but they closed down🥲
