With Chad, the drums themselves are only one part. It's the way he hits that's so unique. I've bought all the drums and cymbals he used from mental to secret, and the key is the big space that he creates when playing. It's like his arms are pushing through water, slightly behind the beat, yet extremely powerful in impact

Music played to perfection with a badass drummer. That being said I'm going to start playing my guitars when Chad does these videos. He's literally down the street from my house doing these videos, maybe if I'm loud enough he'll hear me play. Seriously LIVE is from York just like me, still haven't met them yet but it's a dream too. Some how met Rush 6 times, Disturbed 3 X, Ate with Myles Kennedy, met Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley a "billion" times and hung out with Ben, the grandson of Elvis that sadly is gone now. Hung out with Jeff and Matt Hardy, Kurt Angle, MCMG and most the TNA wrestling roster 3x when they came to York at Club XS after the show. Worked for WWE as ring crew and met so damn many during that time. Still haven't met LIVE and their down the f'n street. I'm to scared to knock on the door and shy, despite meeting so many famous people before that I wasn't scared or shy around.

The only ones who truly recognize what an out of this world talent LIVE was, are the ones that were there in person to live through that time period. This band for a brief moment was the best of the best in a time period where musical talent was everywhere. So much genius packed into the 90’s and LIVE outshined them all. Chad you were part of history and part of the best there ever was!!

Probably my favourite Live song ever although hard to pin down to one. It's very cool to see it broken down like this - and the contribution you make with the drums. I'm so grateful for the sound you create - it's brought me a lot of happiness. I hope that goodness comes back to you in one way or another ❤️

You are my second favorite rock drummer (after Rick Allen of Def Leppard). Your tone, on Throwing Copper especially, kills. This tune and those epic snare hits in All Over You and Hold Me Up are some of the best sounding drums ever recorded in my opinion.

love your playing Chad!.. i know i ask a lotta questions, but i'm curious. do you play each song exactly the same each time? like do you hit the same cymbal at the exact same place in the song each time? or do keep the basic "feel" to the song and vary your accents and such. thanks again for these videos.. rock on!

So I heard a rumor that may or not be true. But when you preformed this song on SNL the band received a standing ovation. I was told in the history of SNL it had only happened a few times before then. Any truth to this?

Why you haven't been used be a million producers, it's exactly what is wrong with the music business. A guy like Robin Diaz gets used by a few people, so everyone else just assumes he's the man. He's a great technical drummer... with zero feel. This is how you play a tune with FEEL. Thank you!

Despite learning this guy is MAGA af, I continue to be a huge fan of his playing ever since I saw the Live MTV unplugged concert in high school.
