Cagayan de Oro, officially known as the City of Cagayan de Oro, is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the region of Northern Mindanao, Philippines. It is the capital of the province of Misamis Oriental where it is geographically situated but governed administratively independent from the provincial government.
Bacolod is a city on the northwest coast of Negros Island in the Philippines. The 19th-century San Sebastian Cathedral stands beside Bacolod Public Plaza. Its original bells are on display in the churchyard outside. The Dizon-Ramos Museum is a 1950s house packed with memorabilia and photographs of the prominent family that once lived there. The Capitol Park and Lagoon has a lake and 2 golden water buffalo statues.

Bacolod is beautiful no doubt, but progress and development wise, ahead talaga ang CDO. Just see its neighboring municipalities that are part of its metropolitan areas.

I been there last June in bacolod I saw a lot of tall buildings along lacson. Yeah.. It's amazing.. And i tour in the upper east megaworld yeah.. I love it. See you next time bacolod. I❤ city of smiles 😄 and next I will visit beautiful CDO..🤩

Regional Capital vs Provincial Capital, malaki pagka iba lalo nasa project and budget distribution mostly naka focus ang national government sa Regional capital from infra,economic development etc while ang lower level nag antay lang nang maambunan..

Changes is more apparent with a new governance , urban planning will be the key to a more livable HUC, lets keep a positive attitude to a progressive city such as CDO and Bacolod more focus on the right and standard infrastructure for the betterment of the city, going to be a metro we are on the sprint

Jonas, however, you cant ignore SM too, they have hotel, condo, and another construction of BPO and a University, so is Ayala waiting for their master plan, to get their parking lot or extend more space till the 888 commercial complex since the Provincial Admin is under way for mid rise construction already, but for me Robinson has the infrastructure in place, cybergate, hotel, condo, mall, beside they still have more space to expand by just breakingdown the wall and open the road in santa clara and a secondary road that open their parking space to gatuslao st, to open up , planning is the key

@@maositong2510 paanong nahuli,? May mga national real estate developer nga sa Bacolod na wala sa CDO like Megaworld na 2 sa Bacolod,and Rockwell na 2 din ang sa Bacolod hindi sa huli sa mga real estate sa Income lang nagkatalo dahil agro industrial major source ng income nito.

Bakit laging bacolod pinag compara sa mga regional center...probinsyal center lng si bacolod malayo status nya sa mga region..center..like iloilo CDO Davao Grn.San tacloban takot sila siguro na isang probinsyal kapital lng ang makaungos sa kanila..dati ni di nila macompara ang bacolod dahil flat city daw ngaun lagi bacolod dahil..isa sa pinakamataas ang index nito sa mga regional center..mas mataas pa index ng bacolod sa CDO ngaun.

We all know that CDO is a regional capital compared to Bacolod city, only a provincial capital. Can you see the difference? It means Bacolod City is very progressive. Why would you compare provincial capital to regional capital? 🤦
