I've never listened to Cage the Elephant besides "No rest for the wicked" but holy shit I've been missing out...

I'm getting hooked on this band. It started with Come A Little Closer.

Incase you were wondering, this song is written about Bonnie and Clyde. It's from Bonnie's perspective and she's represented as a pyromaniac falling in love with fire. It's also influenced by Matt's own life decisions and the idea of reaping what you sow.

Sounds like if Cage the Elephant did the theme for the next Bond film

Cage the elephant has almost shifted from their earlier "grunge" sound to something almost psychedelic. Great song Edit: Grunge wasn’t the most accurate adjective, but I was 14 when I wrote this so cut me some slack.

cage the elephant is a masterpiece.

This album is honestly gearing towards my number one spot. This band has transformed so much and this album may honestly be something special. I haven't heard music this inspired in a really long time.

This might be the best band of the decade, my goodness I never knew they sang this many masterpieces.

I made friends with one guy exactly a year ago actually, we were texting, talking nd playing Minecraft non stop heh, it was kind of addictive... After about 5 months we didn't have the same energy and enthusiasm about hanging out as at the start, so we began avoiding eachother... I hadn't heard from him in 7 months now and it still hurts being away from him even though i know it's better this way... I just hope I need to let some more time pass in order to forget about him because dunno what to do if this feeling continues to bother me... I come back often to this song which really reminds me of him/our time spent together.
