The standard plaza is about 98cm x 48cm by 48cm internal height - but I think "approximately" 100 x 50 is fine :-) It's a good size cage. The Plaza 120 is 118 x 64 x 52 but internal height is actually about 50cm.
I have a Robo in the standard plaza - I measured the space between the bars as 8mm, but officially it's 9mm. It may depend on the Robo and their size as well. I don't think it's being sold in the US yet unfortunately - it's still not that widely available in the Uk - but should be soon.
Hi. From Zoar's Ark in Wales. I think it's the only place it's in stock at the moment but it's supposed to be in larger stores in the Uk soon. I hope it comes to the US too!
Hi. This is a bigger version of the Savic Plaza :-) It came out this year. The original 100 x 50cm Plaza is still available. The new 120cm one isn't available widely yet. But it's for sale at Zoar's Ark pet store in Wales.
Love this new Plaza. What are the internal dimensions of the smaller savic plaza (top of base/bar level)? I am guessing in reality its smaller than the 100x50cm minimum size x
Hi. I spot clean mostly. He has a sand potty inside the house which he pees in so I empty that a couple of times a week, the rest of the cage stays clean and dry for a long time with that much substrate :-) So the occasional bit of spot cleaning and then replacing about half the substrate after a good few months. That helps it smell familiar for the hamster, so I mix the old clean half in with the new half. Other items just as and when needed. They are quite clean little things if they use a toilet 🙂
