me, too! have been waiting for this for soo long! i think he can make it to true greatness. very impressive how he turned down the ufc in the past, waiting to be financially secured and also mentally & especially as he sais physically ready. not a lot of young lads would have made that decision. i think it shows vision, determination and a foresight unusual for young guys between 20-30 y/o. his style is so exciting as well. he just surprises with unorthodox moves on such a regular basis..

Superior observation. With more time his striking will get even better. High sealing. Lots of tape of the kid. Gyms will be game planning schemes to keep fights on the feet. Good size for the division. He's been putting on muscle over the years.

Seen Paddy since early on in CWFC. Great personality, but from a pure fighting perspective, he reminds me more of Diego Sanchez 2.0. Good, not great wrestling, can scramble like a madman, but has an athletic ceiling he'll hit his head on. We already saw this with Soren Bak, who Pimblett simply could not out-position.

Promoters use alot of stats that even most seasoned gamblers dont look at. it happened with Silva Connor happening with omalley and will probably happen with paddy. its big business talkin hundreds of millions in ppv buys. they take as much chance out of the equation as they can

Didn't stop him. Repeated calf kicks...nothing. Strength training is the only reason Khabib is able to absorb that then hold EVERYONE down until he is choked out. Look at ANYONE'S back who is in ufc or bellator. They are ripped from rows and shoulder press/pull downs. It's very uncommon what paddy did. Heart only goes so far... strength and cardio is Mando of you want to fight for a living. The Diaz brothers didn't battle 5 rounds on hope and a prayer. I bet he did a lot of cardio which inevitably makes you stronger
