He’s like Kante. He pops up out of nowhere to cover the tracks, moves the ball forward. He’s not flashy, he doesn’t score, he doesn’t assist much, he isn’t a big guy winning headers So they don’t SEE his defensive attributes

It just seems to me that Cucurella is much better further up the pitch, when he plays as in a Luka Modric DM/Playmaker... Cucurella is ALWAYS ON, tanacious, agile, defensively responsible, teamplayer extraordinaire, unique understanding of the gameplay and with a keen eye for solutions. The only problem with him is that he seems to be too small for the defender role, as he gets tossed around by strong attackers. Veiga is the better option as LB/DM: He is 100% rock solid.

Nobody lashed out on Jackson for just one bad game. We all know he's been consistent with misses since he came onboard. You're the one judging by just one game. He needs to continue with his recent performance otherwise, we will call for someone who can. No gaslighting will change our expectations.
