You grow seedlings first and then you layer to the fruit bearing tree, right? How many months after growing the seedling, do you do this and any particular climate like during the rainy season when this is done?

yes I grow from the seed for few month and than take it for grafing .. it is cut after two month .. now it grow well it will flower and bear fruit by this year.

You girdle the branch on the mother tree without scraping it. You leave the cambium in place and then you graft a rooted seedling. Very interesting. Thanks will try this. Just to clarify. Girdle the mother branch no scraping is that correct? Again thank you and keep those videos coming. :-)

Yo pregunto si se puede hacer injerto de caimito

claro que sí se puede, a como lo podemos observar en el video, notamos que de una rema de un árbol de caimito que ya halla dado fruto, se puede injertar colocando un patrón de caimito el cual se enchapa en o se coloca en forma de púa en la rama que será el injerto, pero a la rama se le debe de hacer un corta longitudinal de una dos pulgadas de largo y raspar el cambiún con la navaja para que el mismo pueda pegar con el tallo del patrón.

Si sabes como realizar un acodo aéreo y tienes la facilidad de conseguir la planta inténtalo este método funciona en casi todas las plantas yo voy a hacer lo mismo ,de pequeño iva mucho a un pequeño bosque cerca de mi casa donde había unos caimitos buenísimos jajaj buena suerte
